All I can say is if this is true, I am pre-ordering 2 of the HD (3-D???) BluRay DVD's ASAP!!! Can you imagine the "special features" (other than The Rebel) that might be contained therein? How about deleted scenes? Or Gerry reciting or reading some of Burns' hot poetry in that oh so sexy burr of his??? The gag reel? Or what about "the making of" featurette? Just the thought of it is making me weak in the knees, LOL!! And if the script isn't right, Mr. Vadim, please allow some of Gerry's greatest admirers to submit their suggestions for scenes, or even the scenarios themselves! I know I have MANY ideas to show Gerry in the best light, so to speak, for this role which he was BORN to play! Come to think of it, I'm willing to wager that Gerry himself has a few ideas he'd toss into the mix as well! I'm just SO excited!!! What a way to end the year!!

I know I have MANY ideas to show Gerry in the best light, so to speak, for this role which he was BORN to play! Oh, I know you do, Honey I know all about it. And speaking of which, I wonder if there will be a scene with Gerry riding a horse? Surely Burns needed some transportation of some sort, right? Just Sayin' Please, pretty please??? Imagine this, Gerry in tight breeches, open flowy shirt, and riding a horse, the hair flowing in the wind. Are ya' with me Ladies?

Oh, LORD, Jeanie - I am SO with you on the image of Gerry on that horse, all dressed in his hot period clothing! And yes, you DO know me well, don't you? I bet you have an idea or two as well, in addition to the horsey play, don't you?
And Milo -- please don't worry about me and my, ehem, gasket! It's the LAST thing that'll get blown, if you get my dairty spice drift, LOL!!

I'm still totally reserving my enthusiasm until it's really confirmed. This article doesn't mean anything as far as I'm concerned. They're known for being a tabloid, like the Enquirer. I hope hope hope hope it's true, and as soon as it's confirmed by Gerry or with an official start date I'll jump up and down with the rest of you.

I thought this is kind of interesting. I found out yesterday from you gals that Auld Lang Syne was written by Robert Burns. And I found this (which it does say that Scots would find this interpretation slightly offensive and on the same line as how Ground Keeper Willie would sing it) but I thought it was cute and here is how it would sound if it was sung by a true Scotsman. So even though Diana Gabaldon had nothing to do with this... I will call this rendition of Auld Lang Syne written out in Gabaldon fashion. Sing it to yourself out loud, its kinda fun. and here is the correct pronunciation...Shid ald akwentans bee firgot, an nivir brocht ti mynd? Shid ald akwentans bee firgot, an ald lang syn? CHORUS: Fir ald lang syn, ma deer, fir ald lang syn, Wil tak a cup o kyndnes yet, fir ald lang syn. An sheerly yil bee yur pynt-staup! an sheerly al bee myn! An will tak a cup o kyndnes yet, fir ald lang syn. CHORUS We twa hay rin aboot the braes, an pood the gowans fyn; Bit weev wandert monae a weery fet, sin ald lang syn. CHORUS We twa hay pedilt in the burn, fray mornin sun til dyn; But seas between us bred hay roard sin ald lang syn. CHORUS An thers a han, my trustee feer! an gees a han o thyn! And we'll tak a right gude-willie-waught, fir ald lang syn. CHORUs Read more: wiki.answers.com/Q/What_language_is_the_New_Year_song_%27Auld_Lang_Syne%27_when_in_its_original_form#ixzz1AWyjeq2E
