www.youtube.com/user/margo3883Dianne, these were splendid! I can't see how some people disagree on GB playing Jamie... Anyway...the above link is my Youtube profile. Feel free, enter and share some of my GB collection..... <3 Okay I am going to put myself out there with this one. I don't think GB now would make a good Jamie. Mostly because of his age and the fact I can't get pass the red hair on GB. lol I think if this was made during his Attila or Beowulf days he would fit to a t but he is way older and I don't think he will grow his hair back out. Jamie is like what 22 and GB is not going to pass for that. Everyone must be realistic here. Really girls if he was younger then yes GOD yes he would fit this role but I doubt they will allow his to play Jamie. Plus I don't think I would want to see them move away from the book on how its written. I would like them to keep it as is. Just as long as its not the dude playing Edward from Twilight. He needs more meat on him. lol

I just say EXACTLY what I'm thinking! I'll rub of on you....mark my word... It happened to everybody when I ran that Alan Rickman site. I read somewhere that he didn't ever go on the computer and I counted on that because some of the thing I said about that man could get me arrested in 3 states... <not really> but we had a lot of fun. I always said I would be surprised if the poor man slapped me with a gag order.

Allright..... Here is how it goes.... I've read the first four books of the "Outlander" saga..... At no 4 i've literally had to drug myself through it, not because it wasn't good, yet because i think Mrs Gabaldon has indeed push it too far with the story.....Yet i found myself once more being amazed by another very clever twist of her in the plot.....and just couldn't stop reading from a certain point and all through the end of "The drums of Automn". However, given the fact that English is not my native language, i think i'm past the point of what i call "language collapse"....feel too tired by use of English... So, even i already have the "Fiery Cross" i'll probably give it a rest of a month or so, otherwise i'll probably not be able or read or write in Shakespeare's ( and Jane's Austen) wonderful language..... Still, my theory is that she should have end the saga looooong ago, perhaps with Claire meeting him again after 20 years....The plot is great, yet i don't wish to meet the heros in their 50s or 60s and they are pretty close..... So, what do YOU think, my good "Jamie Fraser"- fan ladies ?

Which would explain the last book being so....lacking?

See my new Avatar ? Gerard is winking and sort of ....groaning ? I've seen him done it before in other interviews and he reminded me of Jamie Fraser. Actually in the book, Jamie was unable to do a proper wink, so he was sort of winking using both his eyes, much to Claire's amusement. That's what Gerard is doing as well.....he seems unable to wink without this twist of his mouth that makes him look as a Leo King - pardon me Lion king !!!

lol....NOPE! No GB for Jamie still.
I am now on the second book. (smiles to Dianne) Thanx D for the cliffnotes. Keep 'em comin'.
I am not liking all the homo encounters. Feel like I am seeing scenes from Alexander but that GB would be the boy-toy... ;D

As for the homo encounters, i think it just adds to the perplexity of the book and to what Jamie has to endure.... A "Jamie Fraser" fan quote once: "Show me the man whose way of escaping incredible pain while being tortured in a dungeon is to think of his sensual encounters with me and i'll marry him on the spot !" Wise woman, i say......

PS It has been about three weeks that i've not touch a Jamie Fraser book. I feel rather missing him and Claire, vaguelly wondering what is going to happen to them in "The fiery Cross", yet not miss them enough to have to endure every single moment of learning about The Colonies history PLUS fauna and flora, while my favorite couple is behaviouring like a VERY old maried couple......Frustration!
