Oh we have them here too but they have several names such as Milka mello cakes. They aren't wrapped in foil here but come in plastic containers. When I grew up they were known as negro kisses and that name has obviously become impopular. Kids love them and me too According to Wiki the Danish invented them 200 years ago. We also can get these cookies here in the US and they are delicious! Always reminded me of the cookie version of the old campfire favorite "somemores."

Tinkerbell, I remember them too. When I was a child in Germany we called them Mohrenkoepfe (Mooresheads). I miss them. We can get them in the US. But most of them tast stael nto fresh enough. The best ones I ever had where in Switzerland. They where also twice the size.

At the moment there is a show running on PBS with Billy Connolly. It's about Route 66. Very funny and a lot of scottish accent.

LOL...I love that series. Billy's too damned awesome for words to begin with, but to hear him talking about riding Rt. 66 and the people he meets, it's just amazing!

Yes, mydear, you are so right. I don't know what it is with this scottish guys. Look at Robert Carlyle from "Once Upon a Time" Rumpelstilskin/Mr. Gold. When he opens his mouth you forget he is short and by far not as good looking as Gerry. His voice, accent and charm just knock you over.
