That was so funny! And, to tell the truth, I slept with him, too. I was reading the mag that first night right before I went to sleep.

His place is not totally my taste but I could live there as long as there was a housekeeper. The chandeliers are a bit much with so many of them.
There was a cheap one in our house when we moved in. Not real crystal kind of tacky. was the first to go. I wonder of they are Waterford or Orrefors? I know Waterford makes lighting being cut crystal would make prisms and shed rainbows
Orrefors is too contemprary for anything like that unless they have another line I am not familiar with

I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but the lion motif must have a lot of meaning for Gerry, what with the carvings in his NY loft, his Scottish heritage, as well as King LEONidas, to name but a few...I think he finds them to be "good luck," or at least good omens for him. As well as being a symbol of power and virility...king of the jungle, you know!! And you KNOW he roars his pleasure during . . . mmmm....

Oh god, lolab, you just had to put that image in my mind. My poor husband; he doesn't have a clue what I'm going to do to him tonight.

Especially since he isn't a Leo, no Scorpions anywhere in that design. Lions are a big symbol though in UK history, Lion does represent King. Apparently the original royal coat of arms of Scotland featured a red lion So clearly a very powerful symbol in the history of Scotland

Apparently it was the coat of arms of Scotland from about the 12th century until 1603 with the unification of the British and Scottish crowns which I believe still annoys many Scots to this day. There is a recent movie called Stone of Destiny that touches on that subject. LOL.
Because that is one bonnie coat of arms and certainly conveys incredible strength.

Aye, Canadia - the lion is such a masculine symbol of power and virility! And "Stone of Destiny" can have a whole different meaning when referring to Gerry!
