Gerard -just two months after your on/off girlfriend Jen Aniston did a cover takeover of Architectural Digest with her palatial LA pad – you’re beaming in casual jeans from the mag’s cover, showing off YOURS. And what a pad it is. It took FOUR years to renovate your manly loft – almost as much time as it took Sparta to conquer Troy. And I say- it’s way more HOMEY than Jen’s hotel lobby-like house. At least it’s filled with big comfy couches that you can actually lie in. You CAN command the clicker from one of these couches or have a totally comfortable makeout session with Jen – something impossible to do in Jen’s perfect but prissy palace. And the random fancy antique chandeliers do offset some of the perfect preciousness of the rest of the place. What’s really fascinating is that Jen’s personal publicist, Steven Huvane, also has HIS Palm Springs and LA houses featured in the same issue of AD. Is that totally a coincidence or are these two – Jen and Gerard- way tighter than they’re letting on? Take our video tour inside Gerard’s lair and you decide! there is a video as well

I picked up the issue and it is impressive. Be sure to check out the smaller inset images of his place in AD that are not part of the main spread. Especially the shot from his front door into the entrance-wow....amazing perspective!

It sounds lovely, I am doing some redecorating next year and I may just copy some of Gerry's taste and incorporate it in my home.

"It looks like Gerard got the back end of The Bounty...." "...Guys like BIG things... Look at his BIG. WOODEN. Table. And here's his BIG. WOODEN. Kitchen..." "...He's got a BIG BED that would definitely fit both him and Jen and anyone else they chose to have there..."

It was entertaining.......she's Canadian eh? Guys do like Big things though. However that kitchen is not big by my standards. I am still trying to find this magazine. I was pleased to see that the otherwise fully stocked store in town had Men's Journal and W but no Architectural Digest and the night clerk did not seem to know if they carried it or it was just sold out or not in yet.

I was somewhat disappointed with that video. Sounded like there would be actual footage of G's apartment.Or was that perhaps just me dreaming? That would have been nice. Him giving a tour? I absolutely loooove his diningroom table and chairs. I love the dark wood and ruggedness feel to it. I am not a big fan of the lion heads and pillars, though. That's a bit too much for me... Ok, this is the pervy and obsessed side of me coming out, but looking at the picture of his bed, and with all this handcuffing business with the Bounty press tour, I couldn't help but notice that G's has the perfect bed for something like that. the images I am getting in my head...

I want to see the upstairs. They don't show any of that in the issue, do they? I think that downstairs bedroom/office space is more like a guest room.
I wonder if this is one of those lofts with an artificial second floor. With those exposed beams, it looks like it could be. That would mean that entire downstairs ceiling is the floor of a huge upstairs space.
But it shall remain a secret. As it should, I suppose.

Unless you get an invite or it goes up for sale and you can pretend to be rich enough for them to even bother to allow you an appointment for a viewing

Great scans - thanks for posting. If you have the mag, there are several other mini shots of his place throughout the issue - editors note and some other spots. Quite nice!
He says in the article that he now wants to work on the 2nd floor and garden terrace, so I don't think it has a false 2nd floor. He has the top two floors of the condo complex - its 3,300 feet (or was that 3,800 - cant recall, but they say in the issue). That is a pretty big loft!

I looked, but the only extra pic I found was in the front of the mag where they show his entryway and that's at the front of the mag. Do you have the mag? If so, could you post the others?

That's the only one I saw too. It's right there with the table of contents, and they're shooting the inside from the outside with his door open. On the next page is an ad. What are the page numbers of those other shots? I don't know how I missed that.
