They are in the process of casting One For the Money by Janet Evanovich. Awesome book and number one book in the series. Its about a gal who gets laid off from her job. She's a buyer for a lingerie company. She's in a tough spot and is about to have everything reposessed when out of deperation she asks her cousin who owns a bail bond company for a secretary job and ends up becoming a bounty hunter. The problem is she knows as much about bounty hunting as I would. In fact she has never even fired a gun. Her name is Stephanie Plum. The books are suspenseful as well as really funny because Stephanie gets herself in some ridiculous situations.
Stephanie has two love interests. Two handsome men who are both in love with her and she can't decide which one she wants.
One is Ranger...a dangerous Cuban American bounty hunter and her mentor.
The other is Morrelli a Sexy Italian American New Jersey Cop.
The Rock is the only one cast in the part of Ranger. (perfect) They are considering Reese Witherspoon for Stephanie and if Gerry could pull of a Jersey accent he would make a great Morrelli. ;D

Unfortunately Gerry can pull convincingly only one accent: Scottish. ;D I wish I could see him as Bothwell in "Mary, Queen of Scots", but this project just died I think.
My other dream role for Gerard is Vlad Dracula, more known as Tepes. I hope that some day somebody will do a biopic about this man. Gerard has everything what is needed to play Vlad: looks, charisma, great green eyes ;D He can pull out convincingly that inner power of Vlad which made him so great warrior and ruler.

HA!!!!
I went to a party yesterday and this guys were talking about Scotsmen of all things and the one guy said when he worked at General Motors his boss was Scottish and had a really heavy accent. So heavy that the other guys couldn't understand him...HA! This one guy at the party could and would act as an anterpreter.
He said one time the Scottish guy was calling from the office...."Can somebody ge me a spooin?"
Other guy; "A what?"
Scot; "A spooin."
Other guy: "Huh?"
Scot; "Spooin!"
The other guy looks at the guy from the party and says, "What does he want?"
It was a spoon.
A Mary Queen of Scots movie would be great or Dracula, as a historical piece....I love historical pieces.

He would Actually be perfect as King James. He was Mary Queen of Scots son and predisessor to Queen Elizabeth I. He was the one responsible for translating the Bible from Latin to English, (King James version). The only thing was King James was very, very, very gay. King James had a Scottish accent. A piece like that could make an interesting movie if the delved into his personal life...King James was married and had two or three children....out of duty to the crown....but he was known to always have his (special favorites in the male gentry). Other than the few kids he had with his wife he didn't touch her otherwise and had all male lovers.... Actually... a role like that...may bum me out.

Ahhhh no Brokeback! ;D
I would like to see him do Dracula but he said he didn't like doing vampire roles...WAIT or was I mixing that up with Deb's friends book. Ahhhhh! Damn the realisticness...(stares at word) WTF? Is that a word? (shruggs)
Another movie would be HORROR!!! I haven't seen him play one. D2000 I wouldn't put as horror but sci-fi.
He can do a good American, "I'll take a latte please." ;D ;D
And he wasn't bad in Shatter with the American accent. I was shocked. I expected a slip many times but he stuck to it...until the angry scenes...lol

I would like to see him do Dracula but he said he didn't like doing vampire roles... The real Drac was no vampire. Great ruler, great warrior, very controversial and tragic character. That would be something, see Gerry as Dracula during the battle of Tirgsor, decapitating with one hit of his sword his father's killer, Vladislav II Dan...

I think that Gerry is going to get a huge break threw role. There are so many great actors that didn't get their BIG role until they were in their 40's. I mean he had had success in POTO and 300 but usually when I say, "You know what actor I think is hot? Gerard Butler."
Normally they are like..."Who?" Then I mention Phantom and 300 and they are like, "Oh yeah." He hasn't gotten that role that will make him a household name.

One remake that EVERYONE wants him to do is "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir". He would make an awesome sea captain. Only difference is I would want some real interaction...snogging!!!!! If ghosts can do it in books then I think they can take some liberties on film. I know there will never be another film like the original but it would be fun to see Gerry do this part. Cool Scottish sea captain. Rough and Gruff and yet so tender too.The only thing I didn't like about that movie was that it was so sad how he had to wait sooo long for her to come to him. I think they could change that too!!! There is a picture out there somewhere that brings this part to mind but I am too tired to search for it!
