I was visiting our local variety store and the owner has a big screen TV up in his DVD rental section and usually has a movie playing and shut my mouth if it wasn't Shattered and I said you carry that movie [he does not have a huge selection] and he said, he is Chinese, his English is pretty good but he said it is very good movie it is one of my favourites, I like all the twists and I just said well I am impressed with your very good taste. And now I know where I can the rental until I can buy this one.

In the screencap of Gerry and Maria in the rain, I just can't stop noticing the size of his hand. Wow . . .

I'm not a big Pierce Brosnan fan so I steered clear of it doe some reason. I have been trying to track down all of Gerry's movies though... Very hard to come by :-(

Well, if he's in EVERY scene, it's definitely worth the "watch"...

This was a really good movie. I thought Gerry did a great job. It's in my top 5 movies with him so far. Gerry has played so many types of roles and for me it's great to see a favorite actor have such diversity in his work. So him in this movie was fresh, different and intriguing. Great acting in that scene on the roof but then he was good throughout the entire film.
Pierce Brosnan is my favorite James Bond besides Sean Connery being THE James Bond. Cool seeing him and Gerry actually working together in a film. The Scotsman and the Irishman lol. I also LOVE clean-shaven Gerry!

I watched it again last night with the directors ' comments on and I was so horrified to see the crash scene where they REALLY crash at speed by accident as Pierce lost control of the car -awful .Gerry was taken to hospital with broken ribs I believe-I know it's probably been written about before (I did hear him mention it in an interview with JA but honestly I didn't realise that it was this film and they kept the scene in! Poor poor Gerry-he looked in so much pain! :-(

Good news ladies... I went out shopping during my lunch break and found a "previously loved" copy of the movie... Can't wait to see it, but I need a "ME day" to REALLY enjoy it. I'll keep an eye out for those large hands lolab

Just received this DVD. I watched it twice. I think it was an excellent storyline. I was surprised to the end. Gerry did an amazing job with the emotions, esp on that roof. "Don't you hang up!" "Abby!" I felt so sad for him! But in the end I no longer felt sorry for him cuz he was a sleaze.

I discovered Gerry very late , because I'm more into music then movies. I used to be a big filmophile before. The past few years , i feel that Hollywood industry has made a lot of stinkers or unoriginal movies. I could predict movies like this within 10-15. This movie gave me alot of good " what the hell" moments. Every time i tougth that i figured it out, i was blown away. The balance between Gerry, MB and PB was very good. I didn't think any of them overshadowed each other. I didn't like Neil either since he was so smug and arrogant. Until the rooftop and hotell scene , a small part of me was enjoying to se him lose control thinking " not so hot now ,huh?". I also thought that the scene were Neil treated Abby very rough was a bit weird that people in the background didn't react. Then again , i have read and heard about people that gets mugged on buses or the subway. The shocking thing is nobody did something , not even call the police! I guess i see that as a small message from the movie how the world has become cold and indifferent. Remember the scene where Neil and Abby tries to ask people for money ? They only make one attempt , since they probably figured no one would lend that much money to strangers. I'm guess over thinking this. I did't know that the car crash was real. I'm even more impressed that Gerry still stayed in character despite the fact he must have been in great pain. Another example that proves how committed he is to do his job , no matter what. That's one of the main reasons i admire Gerry so much.
