Here's another article! www.examiner.com/examiner/x-30536-Gerard-Butler-Examiner~y2010m1d29-Gerard-Butler-is-an-Artist-for-HaitiGerard Butler was among the celebrities who came out on Thursday, January 28 for the Artists for Haiti Benefit art auction at Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. The event, sponsored by Artists for Peace and Justice, was hosted by actress Olivia Wilde. Rhona Mitra, Diane Lane, Lisa Edelstein, Billy Zane, Billy Burke, Jesse Spencer, Pink, David Arquette and others donated a minimum of $100 and were treated to music by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. 100% of all donations will be given directly to Father Rick Frechette of St. Damien’s Hospital and the ground-level doctors and rescue workers. A silent auction featured artwork by Ed Moses, Ed Ruscha, Corinne Chaix, Raymond Pettibon, Huguette Caland, Larry Bell, Chuck Arnoldi and Robert Graham. Photographs of Haiti by Tao Ruspoli and short films from the Jacmel Film School were also fearures to those in attendance. Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ), founded in 2009 by director Paul Haggis, is a fundraising effort that encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty and enfranchisement in communities around the world. Maria Bello, Josh Brolin, James Franco, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Natasha Koifman, Diane Lane, Michael Stahl-David, Oliver Stone, Madeline Stowe, Charlize Theron, Peter Tunney and Olivia Wilde serve on the advisory board. Butler has also donated his Golden Globes attire to be auctioned by APJ on EBay and recently pledged $250,000 for long-term Haiti relief.

Me likey this Picture for some odd reason. Karma Soph. Aww, good for him. He is really getting out and about. Love the fatc that he is getting so involved with Haiti. My hubby's from Haiti, so that cause really has a special place in my heart, and to see Gerry pledging money touches my heart. I like the picture too, but I think the beard is getting a little too long. A little trim would be in order, Gerry, in my opinion. Just sayin' Also, is that a new ring? He wore a ring with a skull on it for the telethon, didn't he?

Yes, he does seems very happy and relaxed these days. I think he is just enjoying life right now, and getting ready for Coriolanus. March, is it? Maybe he is growing his hair out a bit for that part? Could we be so lucky to see those wonderfull curls again? Well, who knows. You just take your time, and relax, enjoy yourself, Gerry, and go make a heck of a movie.

......aaaaaand since the pink colour and a certain leather KILT was mentioned, let's have another look ! That is just about the hottest f-ing look ever!! Every single woman and probably a few men in that room had to have gone poof. Explanation to reference: “Colloquial usage - an exclamation of sexual arousal....originated from Rockband.com and again in relation to one JD Fortune, circa September 2005.” The phrase actually came from a Rock Star: INXS taping when a woman standing next to LAXguy told him that after watching JD perform, her panties went POOF! expanded usage: poofworthy, poofable, poofing eg. Gerry is highable poofworthy. Often used in conjunction with thud. First you poof, then you thud.
