Uhhh, yes. Love the salt and pepper. Still think the beard is too long, though. Trim it Gerry, come on! He looks incredibly hot when his beard is kept neat, like in Beowulf. @soph. Yes, very nice and kissable lips. Yummm.

Is it my imagination or does he have a little silver lining going on in his beard and hair? Yummy! Yep, I believe Gerry is very gray and dyes them both... he takes after his mom. In fave pictures there is a pic of baby Gerry with his longer hair and you can see lots of gray mixed in the sides. Gerry's hair is really almost black naturally. He has a good stylist that has lightened it up for him as he's gotten a little older. Off topic, I read somewhere that in Scottish romance novels they make the hero with either black or red hair as a rule... Stereotype (kind-of) but funny thing you look at Gerry's family and there he is with his black hair and his two little nieces both red heads.

I could be totally wrong and I am sure someone will prove me wrong but:
Was his hair naturally black though, seems like he was strawberry blonde in some earlier colour photos from the theatre days unless that was a dye job for that role. There is also one wedding photo, his sister's wedding, a black and white photo unfortunately, I believe, and he looks fairer than certainly his brother.
I do know that it is common for Scots to go gray earlier than most of us - one of my best friends, whose parents were both Scottish Canadians, started getting the white strands when she was 23- 24. Her mom was completely gray by 30 but 4 kids including twins in a shor span of time can do that to you too. LOL. However she's not a person who cares about that sort of thing and just let the gray happen though when she turned 40 she was completely gray. and it was bothering her - did not match her still baby face. I always thought the black colour was for movie roles because his hair seems more brown in some of the early indy stuff. A darker colour probably just last longer in covering the gray, he does seem to have actually white spots. I personally think a warmer brown colour like he had for the movie the Jury better suits his colouring or at least that is what I remember it seeming. He also appears to have light coloured hair on his arms and when you are born with black hair, you do not have light coloured hair on your arms, speaking as a person born blonde. And that chest hair looks more brown than black. Hee hee let's do a treatise on this. Matches I am sure the early discussions on just what colour are those eyes, LOL.

I like the gray hair and the longer beard - mainly because G looks like a long line of my exs…
Going back to One Last Kiss and Lucy Sullivan, Gerry’s hair looks to be a standard brown, not dark brown or black. He apparently had a role on stage in London in Suddenly last Summer and lightened his hair to blond for that. By the time he did The Jury I think the gray was beginning to show, because his hair does look lighter. He went much darker for 300 and kept it dark for Shattered which really makes his eyes pop.

Cool video - Gerry looked great, as usual, and I enjoyed seeing Diane Lane at the end.

That is a terrific video and really gives us a good measure of who Gerry is as person. We know he's not perfect with the usual flaws we all have. But its terrific he steps up and makes a generous commitment to help Haiti in long run. He didn't have to do any of this, he could have donated some money and be done with it. But he just threw himself into it! Good on you Gerry!
