Well, she says July and August....lots of confusion lol! www.facebook.com/dartmoorYay, Gerard loved the shirts, but needs a lighter weight of fabric. He certainly does in July and August in Louisiana, LOL!

He is probably looking for the soft almost see-through cotton, as in those "plaid" shirts with the button problems to which he seems to be so attached. I am fond of those shirts as well.

Hm, still wonder if they'll shoot a few weeks in DC.... Yes, they have the White House set in S'port, but it still can't stand in for all of DC.

www.moviefanatic.com/2012/06/aaron-eckhart-to-play-the-president-in-olympus-has-fallen/Today is full of presidential announcements. With Robert Rodriguez having just announced that Charlie Sheen will play the President in Machete Kills, Aaron Eckhart is now set to join the cast of Olympus Has Fallen as the POTUS. I have to say, Eckhart is a tad more believable. The film follows a very similar plot line as the upcoming White House Down. It will feature an ex-Secret Service agent, played by Gerard Butler, who must save the White House from a terrorist attack. Olympus Has Fallen was originally slated to begin production this September, but has been fast-tracked in order to compete with White House Down. Seems like the September date is old news and that we can still rely on July filming... update: www.facebook.com/dartmoorHe's back on Tuesday.

An absolutely silly take on the casting of Eckhart www.movieweb.com/news/aaron-eckhart-joins-olympus-has-fallen-as-the-president-of-the-united-statesJun 22, 2012 by Brian Gallagher Aaron Eckhart Joins Olympus Has Fallen as the President of the United States Aaron Eckhart has joined the cast of director Antoine Fuqua's action-thriller Olympus Has Fallen for Millennium Entertainment. The story centers on a former Secret Service agent (Gerard Butler) who tries to save the White House after terrorists attack the presidential residence. The plot has been described as Die Hard in the White House. Aaron Eckhart is playing the President of the United States (will anyone believe a white man can be president?). Newcomers Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt wrote the screenplay. Gerard Butler will produce alongside his manager, Alan Siegel, and Millennium president Mark Gill. Trevor Short and Avi Lerner are executive producing. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in September. This project is not to be confused with Sony's White House Down, another action-thriller centering on an attack at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Guess what? They still have a black president. So, which one will you see? Olympus Has Fallen comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua.

The designer Jane) now says on her fb page that he's due in Shreveport on Tuesday, must be leaving immediately after the shoot on Monday so it seems they are more likely to be getting on with filming as planned. These confused dates about September seem unlikely.

I think the other white house movie is set for Sept. I think they are confusing the two movies in many articles. The media needs to get their act together.
I am excited to have Gerry start this project!

I can't imagine why they Ever went with that title! Too much like the other movie! I remember reading it & yelling out... what are They thinking! The problem I saw at first with the title Olympus Has Fallen is that it sounds like another Greek mythology film and especially when Sony's announced their film "White House Down" because they now had the advantage of people not being confused about what the movie is about. I think also, Millennium changed Gerry's movie title to White House Taken - going into Cannes Film Festival only to point out that Sony's movie stole their concept. I felt they were saying literary "WHITE HOUSE WAS TAKEN" from them by Sony. LOL Sony really played dirty having a script spec written for 3 million dollars right after Millennium secure the rights to their script which was an hot property. I think though now they can revert to Olympus Has Fallen because of the press coverage of the title changes and similarity of the movies has got every ones attention!

I read a bio online about Aaron Eckhart. He apparently overcame smoking, drinking and partying with hypnosis. This should be an interesting to see if he and Gerry hang out together.
