Yes Judi the FB comment was from yesterday. I also wondered about the shirts being sent to LA, but thought he may be travelling back and forth a bit, or she may have assumed they were to be sent there. She lives in Shreveport

Regardless of where G is or what he is doing, including filming, I would not be surprised to see him pop up anywhere in the world. The man hops international flights in the same way others hail cabs to take them to meetings across town.
There was that report that Gerry would be scouting locations in Istanbul in June for WHT with Albert Hughes. And filming commercials for the Super Max and on and on. We may be dying for news, but you know G is working hard for this career of his--dealing with the complexities of the film business.

Had look through the link in the blackbox, sounds like she doesn't know he's already in town.

I'm getting my directors mixed up. If G is scouting locations for WHT, it's Antoine Fuqua, I think, if there have been no changes. Good lord, give us some up-to-date info on these projects. A CAST, please!!!!

He is completely happy traveling worldwide at a moments notice. Albert Hughes is directing Motor City which is supposedly being filmed in Berlin. No confirmation on that to the public but all the articles have said that so far.

Yes, SD, I did catch that. Maybe if we were getting more info I wouldn't get so mixed up. LOL. I'm trying to be positive and hoping that they are saving up all the good news to make a big splash PR-wise.

So VERY HAPPY! to hear this film has reverted back to the original title! 'olympus has fallen' truly captivates all the iconic imagery of an ancient battle. 'nothing new under the sun' what happened then, happens now. awesome!!! yay!!!!
white house taken = white house down = (black hawk down +- )
'olympus' brings other ideas to mind...the /director/writers can also tweek it to mete out the 'old roman fall' contrast to western society culture/government being modeled after the ancient greco-roman precepts. mount olympus was 'the' symbol where dwelled the 'gods', protectors & overseer to humanity.... heavenly, titans, larger than life....what is the story? the white house is under seige (from who?) and an elite force must recapture? sort of like a 'homeric journey' for gerry = odysseus = 'guile & resourcefulness'? i like it.....

God I hope this name change is true and permanent . I think they were going for Gerry's 'popcorn element' with the title. He sells himself short sometimes worrying about making things commercial enough. The other movie with the similar title may have caused this move. All the better for it!

www.cinemablend.com/new/Aaron-Eckhart-Get-Presidential-Antoine-Fuqua-Olympus-Has-Fallen-31541.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterJust like when we had two Truman Capote movies (Capote, Infamous), two sex friends movies (No Strings Attached, Friends With Benefits) and two Snow White movies (Mirror, Mirror, Snow White and the Huntsman) in development, Hollywood is currently trying to make two separate movies that have been described as "Die Hard in the White House." The first project, White House Down, has already begun rapidly moving through its pre-production phase, hiring Roland Emmerich to direct, Jamie Foxx to play the president, Channing Tatum to play the hero at the center of the story, and Maggie Gyllenhaal to play the female lead, but the opposite project, Olympus Has Fallen, has been making some moves of its own. Antoine Fuqua is attached to direct the project and Gerard Butler will star, and now, according to Variety, the movie has found its president. Aaron Eckhart, last seen getting drunk with Johnny Depp in The Rum Diary and kicking alien ass in Battle: Los Angeles, has signed on as the President of the United States for Olympus Has Fallen. Based on an original script by newcomers Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt, the movie is about a retired secret service agent who is forced back into action when terrorists break into the White House and hold the POTUS hostage. The film will be Fuqua's first feature since 2009's Brooklyn's Finest. Avi Lerner and Trevor Short are both part of the project as executive producers, while Butler and his manager, Alan Siegel, and Millennium's Mark Gill are also behind the film. Production on the action flick will start in September. Strange that this casting announcement would come just one day after Robert Rodriguez announced that Charlie Sheen would be playing the president in Machete Kills. I wonder what would happen if they were in an election running against each other...

Nice. They've been busy, if Gerry is producing too, he must be under a lot of pressure to get the cast in place by July 9th. Must have been hard to cut it this close.

Good pick for the President, but I am still confused about the title of the film is it Olympus Has Fallen? Also, I am wondering why the start date is September also.

Good pick for the President, but I am still confused about the title of the film is it Olympus Has Fallen? Also, I am wondering why the start date is September also. The people at Millenium seemed to be sure it was 3 weeks off. Aaron A might not be needed till September, aren't they only supposed to be in Louisiana till Aug or thru Aug. They shoot elsewhere then don't they? They could also just be making a mistake like when they had him doing this and Brilliant at the same time. Things have been quite confusing with this film already.
