I tried watching it the second time, but had to stop midway through. It didn't help that my eyes were already tearing after having my eyes dilated. I took the day off and watched POTO first and then I put in PSILY and started crying after the first part with his strip tease (the part in the bar)... although I laughing so hard I was crying in that first part. Gerry was just so silly and sexy at the same time.

This movie has been postponed until July 24th; I just found out on IMDB.com. Bummer, that's okay though they do that to get the biggest crowd, they figure it is a great date movie and more people are likely to go then.

We'll just have to wait and see how it will progress during the summer movie explosion.

www.filmstew.com/showArticle.aspx?ContentID=17560Sundance’s Sweet Summer Breeze Following 2006’s Little Miss Sunshine, 2007’s Juno and 2008’s Slumdog Millionaire, Fox Searchlight appears to have all the makings of another crowd pleasing sleeper hit. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM By Pam Grady Fox Searchlight Photo Get ready to fall in love... Exactly six months to the day from the close of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, moviegoers heading into the July 24th weekend will have a choice of two new romantic comedy releases. One, The Ugly Truth, stars Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler and is directed by Robert Luketic, whose previous credits include Legally Blonde, Monster-in-Law and last year’s 21. The other, 500 Days of Summer, marks the feature directorial debut of music video maker Marc Webb and showcases Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The box office spoils should ultimately go to the latter, and not just because the Fox Searchlight entry is likely to get a PG-13 rating as opposed to the R already bestowed on Columbia’s Truth. Whereas the trailer for The Ugly Truth pegs it as a routine romantic comedy, 500 Days of Summer is anything but. An anti-romantic comedy of sorts, this fast, funny and absolutely delightful film zeroes in on lovelorn greeting card designer Tom (Gordon-Levitt) and his cynical downtown Los Angeles co-worker Summer (Deschanel). Jumping back and forth in time, Webb frames plenty of playful flourishes including musical moments and Tom's lonely visit to an art house cinema, where he imagines himself up on the silver screen. Ironically, Columbia had originally planned to release Lakeshore Productions offering The Ugly Truth on the weekend of April 3rd, when it would have been poised as perfect counter-programming to the fourth Fast and Furious installment. Now, it faces the prospect of trying to outlast a genuine crowd pleaser fueled by months of Park City inspired buzz. A similar dichotomy of sorts surrounds the co-writers of 500 Days of Summer, Scott Neustader and Michael H. Weber. Because along with their sweet summer offering, this pair is also responsible – along with star Steve Martin – for the screenplay of next weekend’s The Pink Panther 2.

I like that one better than the one with just the male and female symbols on it with the hearts... he is so drop dead gorgeous. See? That was me dropping dead.
