This thread was a big hit at my other board; discuss your encounters in your normal day life that made you think about our Hot Scot.

Oh boy, there are lots of things.... I was giving a guy a hair cut that wears his hair like Gerry..... Wow would I like to run my hands through his hair!!!! Ahhhh! Lol, I would have died if you 'sexually harrassed' the customer! That was a great one! If I cut G's hair, I could run my hands through it all I want at my hearts content and he wouldn't even think a thing about it. It would be when my hands left his head and began traveling down his chest that he may begin to feel like anobject... I think of Gerry a lot... When we went camping I was in line with my daughter for an icecream cone and there was this guy and his son behind me... They had come riding up in a golf cart and I knew you could rent them but I didn't know where or how much. So I turned to the guy in back of me and asked him and he answered me in the nicest Scottish burr. I thanked him and turned around and it was all I could do not to turn back around and ask him to yell, "Spartan's, prepare for glory!" I thought maybe he would think I was strange though. After we walked away I asked my daughter, "Did you hear his accent?" She said, "Yeah, Scottish."

...cute story, diane. also made me laugh to consider the irony of a 'scotsman on the golf course' simply put, throughout my days, sometimes randomly, out of nowhere i'll 'think' of gerry. what he's doing at that moment? odd sort of things, questions i'd like blog here about. over him. in the course of my life i'm not running into any one or situations per se' reminding me of gerry...although, new york city is really pressing on my skull. i think, maybe, i'm checkng out a medical college in brooklyn as an alternate schooling 2010-2011? so, we'll see if i can bump into mr. gerard? tee hee. good thread. fun.

It happens to me alot when I'm baking at work. All i think of is when he was in One Last Kiss and how cute he looked when he knew his way around the kitchen. I always go off in my mind pictureing him there helping me bake.
le sigh... thats nice to think of when crazy people start harassing you for their baked goods.

I'm new here, but this seemed like a good place to post first.
There are so many moments, how do I choose one? Probably most often it is when I have a moment I need to escape from reality whether it be at work or at home. He's a welcome respite.

Hmmmm...I saw this pug last night near my park and I went over and said hello. I was like awwww it's Lola. The owner looked at me like i lost my mind. She proceeded to snatch the dog up and walk away. I wanted to yell at her, "Hey drop Gerry's dog..." Then started laughing to myself cause I said Gerry's dog...(others thoughts interferred)

I have some scottish friends and everytime they speak i think of Gerry. Everytime I see an interview with some scottish word Gerry throws out there i ask them what it means. Sometimes they dont have an answer because Gerry is from a different part of scotland. I loved SNL where they interpret a message to his family in scotland. My friends got a big kick out of that segment. He's the best with Craig Ferguson. I watch those interviews on You Tube constantly.
