oh wow. so this was when gerard made B&W? you know girls i always thought these photos of G were extremely sexy bc there was a vitality, wild & wooley look. something extra special about him during this time. i wonder if it was the icelandic climate (even though he balked at the extremely bad conditions who wouldn't, really) or if it was perhaps the timing of all good things converging at once in his life??? either way...we'll take it! yes, yes and more yes...B&G total favorite little spot! and WOW....didn't know there was a facebook too? Actually this pic is from TIFF in 2005 when B&G came out. He was getting ready to start 300. He looked fabulous at TIFF. The press conference is a good one too. He looked fabulous in summer of 2004 as well when he was supposed to start B&G and it was delayed. Love how he looked during B&G!!!!

"Beowulf and Grendel" remains one of my favorite Gerry films. It is profound, and speaks about racism and man's inability, from earliest prehistory, to tolerate those who are different from themselves. "Wrath of Gods" gives us an inkling of the physical and financial trials experienced in bringing it to the screen. Some of us "old fans" went to Toronto, to support the movie, at TIFF. Memorably, we met Gerard and Sturla Gunnarsson, and they went out of their way to be nice to the fans. As you can see in these photos, he was, in a word,............MAGNIFICENT to behold. I cannot imagine a better Viking for Mel Gibson's movie... I was not sure, but now I will see the movie too. my favorite is "Phantom of the Opera" i love the characters, the feeling and the music. my souls beginns to fly in the sky. and "dear Frankey". He is a great movie and the scottish accent is very charming. i love Timeline and PS....... with a very nice Gerry

MGM started a new TV serie "Vikings".It is the same atmosphere as in B&G.I can imagine Gerry there. If it's good for Gabriel Byrne why GB couldn't do the same.Someone said here he is now A list actor but any guest role for episode or two-would it be so harmful to his career now?Just saying...

I wouldn't think so. I mean , Robin Williams , Brad Pitt , Hugh Laurie and many others had guest role for Friends. As long it's a big show like that , it wouldn't hurt his carer. I think it would kinda cool of Gerry was " guest" on Simpson's. He did a great job on How To Train a Dragon. I'm sure he would he would have gotten a kick out of it. Maybe even literally too ( on Simpsons that is)
