Ooooh, that's a nice thought Engchickie!! I'll think like that when I'm using the shower gel tomorrow morning...
It would be funny to meet Gerry while wearing it, and having him ask what you're wearing. He wouldn't believe it, at first! Then, he'd think he should get royalties from the sale of it!! LOL

Thanks Shellie www.bloginity.com/blog/2010/12/02/maligned-movie-memories-ps-i-love-you-artificial-or-underrated/Maligned Movie Memories: PS I Love You; Artificial or Underrated?December 2, 2010 // 02:26 // Article by Rachel Bennett As the weather gets colder and the holidays draw near, I am not thinking about presents, exams or the approaching reality of a break from school. As usual, I am thinking about movies. Around this time of the year, I am mostly thinking about the movies that will be nominated for Academy Awards. With the announcement that Anne Hathaway and James Franco will co-host the Oscars, and the arrival of many Oscar-worthy films at my local theater, these movies have arrested a good deal of my attention span. Of course, that is, I am thinking about these films when my attention is not directed at Facebook…which it is most of the time. This time of the year also gets me thinking about a movie that did not win any awards, and, according to critics, did not deserve any (except maybe a Razzie Award): the Hilary Swank classic P.S. I Love You. Taking a page from The Golden Girls, picture it: North Carolina, December of 2007. I was a young girl who, with her beloved mother, went to see P.S. I Love You at my favorite movie theater. I was preparing myself to waste two hours on another standard “rom-com”—one that I would watch again two years later at 1 a.m. on Lifetime just because I was bored. But, then, a true Christmas miracle occurred. I did not hate P.S. I Love You; I loved it (no corny pun intended.) Critics slammed P.S. I Love You for being “uneven,” “lame” and “artificial.” I consider myself to have a decent taste in movies, so many critics’ negative reaction toward P.S. I Love You is practically the eighth world wonder to me. Even many of my friends did not like P.S. I Love You because they were crying the entire time or because it was not similar enough to the book upon which it is based. My mom and I seemed to be the only people in North Carolina, or even on Earth, who liked P.S. I Love You. Sure, P.S. I Love You is no The Hurt Locker or The Departed, but it is an enjoyable film that I can happily watch numerous times. At the time, I could not comprehend how anyone could not like P.S. I Love You. Three years later, I still cannot understand how anyone could not like the film. It has comedy, romance, tragedy, Irish accents, Gerard Butler and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s butt). What is there not to like? Some people would consider P.S. I Love You to be a guilty pleasure, but I do not see it this way. Is every show on MTV a guilty pleasure? Yes. Is P.S. I Love You a guilty pleasure? No. I proudly display P.S. I Love You on my DVD shelf, right in between The Holiday and Zodiac. So, even though I will spend a majority of December thinking about all of the Oscar-seeking films that I hope to love, I will also be thinking about P.S. I Love You: a film that I do love…and everyone else seems to hate. Do you like any films that no one else does, Bloginity readers? If so, what are they? Do you love The Golden Girls just as much as I do? Let us know in the comments section below! Cute little interview with gerry & hilary, ... 4http://www.mylifetime.com/lifestyle/entertainment/celebrities/hilary-swank-and-gerard-butler-share-love In the romantic movie “P.S. I Love You,” Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler star as husband and wife Gerry and Holly Kennedy, whose relationship is changed forever when Gerry tragically dies of a brain tumor. After her husband’s death, Holly finds letters that Gerry wrote to her to help her get on with her life. Swank, 34, and Butler, 38, recently talked about playing a married couple, their onscreen chemistry and what exactly “Gerry Juice” is. What would you say the movie’s big message is? Swank: I would say that “P.S. I Love You” is a great love story. It reminds you to hold the ones you love dear and near, and never take them for granted. Because you never know what’s going to happen tomorrow or the next day. Don’t leave the house upset with each other. Make sure you say, “I love you.” And it’s also about the power of friendships and family, and to not take life so seriously. Butler: I could call it comedy, but there are so many sad moments. But even in those sad moments, half the time your sides are splitting. How would you describe your characters in this movie? Swank: It’s beautiful to see her go through the ups and downs of losing somebody but also finding herself again throughout the whole trial and tribulation of that. She’s really artistic and really creative. I think she has a lot of heart. It’s been a really fun journey going through the emotions that she’s gone through to come through where she is at the end. Butler: He’s like a rambling, roaming rogue but in the best way. He’s a musician. He played folk music when they met. You get the feeling that he’s one of those guys that everyone loves. He’s got a great spirit. He’s very funny. He has a lot of close friends; he can affect a crowd. He can have fun, but deep down what’s the essence of Gerry is that he knows how to love life in the best way, because the best thing about him is his soulful spirit. Gerard, this film is very different from others you’ve done. Why did you want do “P.S. I Love You”? Butler: This one was strange because it all seemed to come together so quickly and neatly and perfectly. My team of people said it was a great script, and I should have a look at it. So I did. I read it and I thought, This is great. It’s a chance for me to do something lighter but at the same time what I feel is profound. And it’s a chance for me … to come alive in a role where you get a lot of me — what my agent calls “Gerry Juice.” He said I need something I can give some Gerry Juice to instead of tears and swords. Speaking of “Gerry Juice,” how would you describe your chemistry of working together? Butler: I can’t say enough good things about working with Hilary. She’s so exceptional. Swank: Gerard is such a great guy. He has such a heart of gold. He comes onto the set so open and wanting to make to the best it can be. He has great ideas and suggestions, and he really cares. He wants to make sure that you’re getting everything that you need. He’ll do things that are funny off-camera. He’s not afraid to look like a goofball to make it the best it can be in every way. He’s so emotional and real and talented. I feel like we had such great chemistry. What was your favorite scene with Hilary in the movie? Butler: That scene with her smiling at me, singing and jumping in. And literally I get her back, pull the guitar off like, “I’m not letting her go this time,” and plant the big kiss on her lips. And the crowd went crazy. It was so enthralling. I knew it was going to be fun but in that moment when they went nuts, it was like, wow. It was so real. Hilary, what did you think when you heard fellow Oscar winner Kathy Bates was going to play your mom? Swank: Kathy Bates is such an inspiration to me, so it was great when I heard she was coming on board to play my mother, Patricia. Working with her has been really inspiring, and I think it makes me step up as an actor. A lot of couples in movies are unrealistic. How can people relate to Holly and Gerry in this film? Butler: They [Holly & Gerry] were always supposed to meet, and you have this walk and talk through the beautiful countryside in Ireland, by the end of which you totally feel that these two have completely fallen in love and were fated to be together — and you can absolutely believe it. It’s done in such a real and human but then in a silly and funny way … The scene [in the apartment] sums up everything you can have in a marriage. You get the tears, you get the frustrations, the comedy, the familiarity, the anger and the pure love that breaks through everything. That’s what turned me on to this [movie]. Gerry Juice

Bought it , saw it and i cried. I'm usually not a emotional person and it's very rare that i cry. Sure , i get choked up and my eyes waters. For some reason I'm afraid that if i cry , I'll have hard time stopping the waterworks. Every Gerry said "p.s i love you , i choked up. I still keep trying to fight it. The last letter did it for me and my tears was streaming down my face. Along with Phantom of the opera , i think it's only movies that made cry past of years. I also not a big fan of romance movies because some couples are so unrealistic , but i loved the relationships between Holly and Gerry.

Hi Norwigi PSILY and POTO are two of my favorite Gerry movies as well. The third is Dear Frankie and if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it! All three of those movies make me cry every time I watch them, but in DF I laugh, cry , laugh and cry together and just love the relationships, emotions, lovely accents, haunting scenery and HOPE in this movie. All in all I find it uplifting and that is when I watch it.....when I need a lift.

PSILY is a great movie. I could always relate to their argument in the beginning of the movie to me and my now EX boyfriend/husband.
Oh and on ROF the best part of the movie is Gerry. I remember the first time I seen that one. It just came on the channel I had left it on on TV and I wasn't really paying attention. At the time I was a new Gerry fan and had no idea that he was in it. So while it's on I was doing something else and then I hear that voice and I'm like "oh shit I just heard Gerard Butler". So I looked up and sure enough there he was.
