Ok, so this isn't exactly forum related, but I thought someone here might know a little more than me... My computer has been acting extremely retarded the past couple of weeks. It started when I tried to rip the 300 soundtrack to my music library...now no cd's will even play in my computer and the damn thing freezes up whenever I put one in. Computer games work ok, it's just music cd's. I've tried a system restore, didn't work. I made sure to download all appropriate computer updates, nothing works. any advice or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hmmm...dianne's sister may help better. I usually am better hands on with the IT stuff. Try repairing the application. You can find this in the Add/Remove Programs. Depending on what type of software or application you use. If you use the default Windows Media, you may be able to repair.
