Great photos but I agree about the black and white photos they are just "too" angry looking. I love Gerry's intense looking photos and I understand that he is promoting a movie as a hard-man but couldn't he have smiled in at least one photo ! I miss seeing that killer smile!

Thanks Russian fans for the great photos and I am going to wait to read the article until a translation more understandable than Google surfaces. The picture of Gerry sitting in that worn-out chair just breaks my heart. He looks so forlorn, sad, lost whatever adjective you want to use, definitely not the happy-go-lucky man that we have all been following for years. I hope it was just exhaustion from the OHF grueling PR tour or the whole photo shoot was aimed at a more serious view of Gerry and not that horrid Celtic Fog descending.
Yesterday, I went to see OHF in the theater for the last appearance. It has disappeared from our area now until the video appears as has Gerry dropped from our sight. I hope that when Gerry reemerges from wherever he has been that he looks happier, healthier and heavier and gets back to work with renewed purpose, but in any case he is always beyond compare IMO.

Solo posted Some sentences from the article:
Title — «The last king of Scotland».
- He escaped from the hotel and went along night Moscow (I’m a just Scotland guy, I don’t need all these bodyguards, all this pafos»).
- He lost key from his Moscow hotel’s room and couldn’t enter inside almost half of a night.
- I can’t remember when I fighted last time. I must be careful because I’m like under magnifying lens.
- Many of my schoolmates are in the prison.
- The movie’s promotion is very interesting but it’s so unreal hard. The permanent jet lag.
- My lovely telephone numbers are my agent, my manager, my assistent, my family and, I think, 4 friends.
- He visits Scotland three times a year now.
- When his father died Gerard wanted to return home. But he had a wild relationship with his girlfriend which teared to pieces his passport. That’s why Gerard had to fly in Scotland without document and his mom waited for him near the airport with his birth certificate.
- He said that he easy communicates with Russians because of a similar temperament, a similar energy and a similar sense of humor.
- Scotland made me. I’m completely a Scotland man. I’m keenly feeling my Scottish identity.
- What do you feeling when you see a crowd of 300 women under your window? — It’s strangely, very strangely. But if a crowd come away I’ll probably say: «Heeeey! Stop! Where are you go?! I need my crowd of 300 women!».
And no one word about GF btw.

Hello dears! Sorry my English but...
During the interview Gerry drank so much coffee. He had dark shadows beneath his eyes. "Sometimes I'm sitting on the bed and thinking: "I just can't get enough". But then I deal with it."
If someone wants to get GQ Russia please write me solocentrum@gmail.com. I'll try to send it to you with a little help of PayPal (magazine costs near 4$ and postal services, I think, near 10$).

Great photos, love the photo shoot. Wish the article was translated, but appreciate the excerpts from Solo - much appreciated. I love even those "thug photos". He does have the jet lag, but he's still the most sexy, handsome, gorgeous man in the world. Love you Gerry.

He looks like in those photo's he just found out about the lawsuit. Hope he is resting and eating wherever he is. Getting back to the lawsuit those judges in CA are all nuts. It is ridiculous. I hope they throw it out.

Let's not forget that Gerry is an actor! I'm sure he was in character for the shoot. Remember the Cannes photos from last year taken on the boat - some of them were very sombre. But there was also a video of him larking about during the shoot, and then the interview where he was (unsuccessfully) wrangling that *%#@@ checked shirt.

Here's the interview I was referring to - I just love that look on his face after he has finally got his shirt under control - I don't know how the interviewer kept it together - I would have jumped him

I forgot he talked about Motor City in that interview sad that it fell apart he was so enthusiastic about that project.
