What happens when you put a celebrity chef with a Hollywood heartthrob? Of course, the duo decides to indulge in Sugar Factory’s “Berry Bling” edition of Couture Pop. That’s what happened in Monaco when celebrated actor Gerard Butler joined legendary culinary great Daniel Boulud. Both were recently spotted dining together on a yacht there. Sugar Factory is the couture candy shop in Las Vegas that has all the celebrities stopping by to pick up blinged out lollipops. The boutique has locations at the Mirage and the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. This fall, Sugar Factory opens its flagship store at Paris Las Vegas complete with a cafe serving decadent treats. Boulud, one of Haute Living’s Haute 100 in New York, is known for his Daniel Boulud Brasserie at Wynn Las Vegas. The French dining destination is slated to close July 5. He also owns Daniel NY, DBGB Kitchen & Bar, Cafe Boulud New York, Bar Boulud and DB Bistro Moderne. Butler recently starred in The Bounty Hunter. www.hauteliving.com/2010/07/eye-candy-gerard-butler-and-daniel-boulud-spotted-indulging-in-couture-pops/I remember getting a report about Gerry having dinner with a chef in Monaco. Now the yachting jacket makes sense. Check out the photo of Daniel Boulud at the link above, better picture of the Couture Pop, that is quite the fancy stick aka disco stick, very blingy, it's not your average Tootsie Pop.

They sell these pops in Vegas and my daughter wants one for a souvenir and the gal at the bank where I go gave me money for me to buy her one...LOL! They are cool. Rhinestone coated stick and you can buy replacement heads to go on it.
What will they think of next?
