And he deserves it! Here is the JJ article: Gerard Butler proudly shows off his Actor of the Year Award during day two of the Ischia Film Festival on Monday (July 11) in Ischia, Italy.
The 41-year-old Scottish actor was honored during the Gasamicciola Gala Dinner and Award ceremony, which was also attended by Eli Roth, model Karolina Kurkova, and director Kenny Ortega.
The night before, Gerard suited up for the opening dinner of the annual film festival.
Gerard received Ischia’s Special Fashion Award, the festival’s Best New Actor accolade, in 2004 for his work on The Phantom of the Opera. |

 You know... I rarely pay attention to other men when Gerry is in the pic.... but this Eli Roth guy is very easy on the eyes as well.... He reminds me a lot of Zachary Quinto. Of course Gerry is THE sexiest! |

Elenoire, Fifi, Thanks so much for posting these things for me. I am on vacation and hubby is home. We are doing lots of day-trips and I haven't had time to put toward the site like I usually do... Everyone else who helped, thank you are well. You all are great!!!!   He'll be off until next Monday, tonight we are having friends over and tomorrow we are spending the day at a little resort town of Frankenmuth Michigan, Wednesday we are going to go downtown to Greektown in Detroit, and then Thursday I am driving down to Kentucky to visit relatives. Thanks to all for picking up my slack. You're very welcome Dianne. I have to say I am now ready to give up my paid employment and become a full time Poster of Gorgeousness  . Now if I can only find someone to sponser me .... any ideas? Have a fabulous holiday  |

I'm sure they are wrong Maddie - just being snarky. Gerry has been at so many social occasions lately that he would have been photographed with a drink in his hand if he had a problem with alcohol
