I can only imagine how many men and women who meet Gerry hand him scripts or music or something to further their career.
This video seems to be opposite what the girl is saying about him liking her and calling her. I am not saying I don't believe he called her and met her but the video makes me uncomfortable because he's acting so uncomfortable.

I agree with both of you and I only posted it in the threads so it can be discussed here and not in the c-box. I felt very uncomfortable watching it too and I seriously think now with the video being out there she gambled any chances of help from Gerry to further her career away. It was uncomfortable to watch and very sneaky.

According to the title of the video this happened in Louisiana when Gerry was filming PTF. Looks like the lobby of a hotel but I thought he stayed in homes while he was there. Very confusing.

Joanna is right and the date with the video says April 21st but I figured "Decello" may know something we don't.

Sorry,but I could not watch that entire video once I saw how uncomfortable Gerry looked at being watched/video taped. He definitely was not flirting with anyone from what I saw. And why would someone post that video on our forum?

I find it hard to believe that video was in Shrevesport but it's possible. How did they end up in Shrevesport when he was there? Seems more likely they were in LA trying to sell her music and found Gerry and passed it on to him. If he was interested in her, it wasn't apparent on that video. There is no way to know if she made up the whole story but the video seems to tell a story different than hers.
I really thought at one point he was going to go over to them and have it turned off. Maybe he did. He seemed to even be hiding his face from the window on the other side. It was so weird. That's why I asked where it was filmed.

I really didn't hear anything she said that suggested they met up again. She was telling how she met him before at a club 2 years ago and that he remembered her and she was all gushing and star-struck. But I may have missed something because of the Swiss-German being hard to understand even for Germans and I didn't watch it to the end. What they did was rude to Gerry and he did not look happy that they were filming him secretly like that. They were super sneaky, using infra red lights and whatnot, it was horrible. This chick and her buddy better hope Gerry will never see this video because I don't think he would be happy about it... |

Just a thought - I had a pretty strong response to seeing Gerry so obviously unhappy about being filmed, as apparently did other members. But it brought to mind those photos of him walking along the side of the road in his wetsuit when we first saw evidence of him smoking again (back on page 12 of this thread), and to me he looked just as unhappy. So as fans, what do we accept/not accept as being ok to post? Is it that the video made his reaction more 'real' and so it was harder to watch? Or because it was taken by someone who was perhaps trying to benefit from the supposed meeting (although I didn't know that until someone translated). No less than the paps who sell their pics. Its a bit of a moral dilemma for me and one that I'm sure has probably been discussed more than once on this board. I don't have any answers, and I don't have an agenda, just interested in what others think

Fifi, I think the difference is that with the pap photos, the paps are not hiding from Gerry and he accepts them. But this girl and her husband or boyfriend (whatever) were sneaky and were filming him behind his back, using infra red etc. But you are right, it's difficult to know where to draw the line.
Personally, this video was too much even for me and I am very liberal when it comes to Gerry stuff being posted, I think the info should be out there on a fan site. But this not just another photo or a piece of news, this is too painful, no need to reproduce it; it offers nothing to us fans, only sadness about how hard certain aspects in G's life are. :-(
