But it seems Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler's friendship may have blossomed into something of a romance, judging by photographs of the pair out together last week. Biel and Butler, who can soon be seen starring in romantic comedy Playing The Field, cuddled up on the back of a Harley Davidson motorbike as they sped down the Pacific Coast Highway Biel, who embraced her inner biker chick in a black leather jacket, dark jeans and brown boots, seemed to have no qualms holding tight to Butler as they enjoyed the hair-raising ride. And Butler also didn't appear to mind the fact he had a beautiful Hollywood actress clinging to his back, smiling as he put his foot down as sped off. Biel and Butler were first romantically linked back in March when they filmed scenes for their new movie in Louisiana.    |

It could be a few things so here's my thoughts.
1. He promised her a ride once they got back to LA and he's following through.
2. Either her or his PR people set this up.
3. They could be a thing?
There are so many variables that we don't know about. Regardless of what it is or isn't, she is surely the luckiest woman in the world at that moment.

Also, I don't think her arms are around him in any of the pics. LOL This is obviously a PR thing to make her look less like the pathetic ex-girlfriend pining away for JT. Smart move.  |

 G'day everybody! I've said it before, I don't like or dislike Biel, but she's another Aniston in my head: nice, pretty (= harmless). Like vanilla and daisies. This looks platonic, but I could be a million kinds of wrong.  I admit it, maybe I'm projecting, but he's waited so long to be in an intimate/committed relationship, that I guess *I* have a set look/feel for the woman that *I* imagine him with, and she is not eeeeeven close. But being close to MY ideal is not what this is all about, right? She apparently is close enough to HIS body in proximity, but still...meh. This sounds crazy, but I think this would have been a million times "sexier" if she was on her own hog. Disclaimer: Immediately following is a completely unfounded statement; He strikes me as the type that would reeeeally appreciate a woman who could demonstrate her "riding skills" on a "big, hot 'n' heavy machine."

This really took me by surprise. As Mrs Butler suggested: I bet Gerry talked to Jessica about his love for motorcycle riding while they spent time together and she most likely has never ridden one. I can imagine Gerry offering to take her for a ride back in LA.
I think they struck up a friendship working together which he seems to do easily from what I've seen. Perhaps they are spending some time together to get to know each other more. But he still was at some party on Thurs night and off to Maui over the weekend. I wouldn't get too worried about it.
What I don't get is why Gerry would want to go thru the romance rumors all over again like with Jenn. He said he doesn't care what they write about him and I believe he'll do what he wants to do and hope the paps don't find him doing it. His team will do their thing to dispell the rumors and Gerry will go on living his life as usual.

Gossip Cops has already waded in on this and confirmed it with Team Gerry that it's no romance, just friends. I think that they probably did become friends during the filming of the movie, but I don't think it will ever go any farther than that. She has been linked to a couple of others of late, and from the way JT speaks of her - saying that she is still the most significant person in his life - they may eventually reconcile...anything is possible. But since Jeannia and Evan are having their baby soon (if she hasn't had it already), I'm sure Gerry may feel a bit of a "loss" of a gal-pal, not in the literal sense, but in the time to spend together sense, and he seems to like having gal-pals, and maybe Jessica helps to fill that void. Just speculation from where I sit, none of us know what's in his head or anything at all really...all we can do is speculate and hope for the best for him. I just want him to be happy and healthy, that's all any of us can really hope for.
