for the pics girls What a man!!!! When i see this pics of him on the beach wearing that surf-suit i see the surfer guy. Not just the image of an actor who tries to look like a surfer. We know that his next movie supposes him being a mentor and a master at surfing and he wants to appear at his best. But i do really hope that he enjoys it and not only makes his preparations for the role. Excellent pics of Gerry surfing, thanks gals for posting them!! Girllily, love the surfing smilies!!

I agree, totally. Stunt double or not, he strikes me as a person who, if possible, will do it himself and wants to do it himself. And I also agree he has improved a lot! But there is that "perfectionist" drive in him that makes him push himself.
It would be hard to tell him to relax and enjoy the surfing when he may have it in his mind that, I need to be like this person to protray him as he should be protrayed. It is the way Gerry shows his respect to the person/character.
It is this reason, I can't wait to see Machine Gun Preacher. There were some stills that I saw when he was filming that showed such intense concentration on what he wanted to protray. Not just showing us who Sam is but his message.
At least, this is what I've been muddling lately.

He looks damn sexy in cargo pants and I do believe there are some contenders for the bulge thread in here.

I seriously don't think Lolita is pregnant, Gerry had her spayed when she was a puppy and old enough for it. And she's really not too fat for a pug, they are normally very thick, stocky little dogs, just condusive to the breed. Peace out... Mareksgirl You mean she has been neutered? So no hope for little Lolitas? :-) Neutered is what you do to males; you spay female animals. Just being the teacher ... but there won't be any little Lolitas. LOL I agree that Gerry does like to do his own "stunts" for the integrity of the movie as well for himself to learn something new. But I would hope that the "real" surfing will be done by someone else. My fear is him getting conked on the head or, heaven forbid, getting his face scarred up. Have you seen some of those surfer's faces? Anyway, he's doing great, looks like he's taking it slow by learning on the smaller waves. Now to keep little surfer dudes out of his way! That could have been a disaster, and it was apparently the kid's fault.

If the edge of that towel was picked up by the wind or if it wandered a little higher this picture could be more interesting than what it is...In fact I would dare to guess that something else would be pixelated besides his friends face. Could I venture to say that there was almost four boys hanging around instead of just two. I remember that Tim Allen said in his stand-up that he dropped the towel once, and caught his reflection in the mirror, from the back, as he picked it off the floor and he thought he was looking at a Wildebeest on the Serengeti. It's true, I've seen my husband pick up many towels naked in twenty years of marriage. I was waiting for him to drop that towel as he was changing into sweats. If he had, it wouldn't have just been four boys, but also a verra big sausage!!

I don't mind that he's smoking, I was just wondering when he picked up again. I know it's wrong but I'm kinda turned on by a guy who smokes. I always have been, even before I started smoking myself. I think it's cuz it makes 'em look like naughty boys and naughty is awfully nice. This is actually the first pics I've seen lately of him smoking; it has to be a recent thing for him. I imagine he's under a lot of stress and I guess I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't start around the time of MGP or after making MGP. He could have picked it up anytime. FWB smokes and it doesn't really bother me much; Gerry's smoking doesn't bother me either. I have a vice (well two actually) coffee and chocolate!! I have to have both everyday, even just a little, to get through my day. I have also developed a taste for wine, but I don't drink that very often, just once in a while. Found a great tasting wine at a local winery called Buffalo Rock Winery, it's a Blueberry wine and verra tasty.

Gerry was surrounded by heavy smokers on PTF methinks it started then, and the line producer was complaining that people were smoking in bars and restaurants ignoring the no smoking by law and no one was enforcing the by laws according to her....
Yes every director wants every actor to go as far with the stunts as safely possible because it is better for the film overall, for its authenticity, you can see the stunt doubles in Tomb Raider, a really good movie you should not be cognizant of the stunt doubles

DIANNE! I am shocked! YOU missed this? YOU of all people? What's happening to you, girl? You're slipping! I know, I was befuddled by seeing the Butler sheathed in rubber. Sheathed in rubber ... my mind went straight for the gutter, didn't pass GO, didn't collect $200. Nice sutle finger salute to the paps. Way to go, Gerry!!

I would much rather see him smoking than drinking - or God forbid, turn into a lunatic like Charlie Sheen That's what i meant to say AMEN TO THAT! I second that emotion. Charlie Sheen let his life get away from him several years ago, he lost any shread of respect I had left for him. I thought he was able to turn his life around, but then he turned into total looney toons. So sad ... so very sad.

For days now, I have been trying to think of a way to put this without having to endure unwelcomed vitriol because what I'm about to say is not as "pro-Gerry" as I have been in the past. I am 100% sadden that he has returned to smoking, what ever the reason. I just can't get with "well, at least he's not..." (and I wouldn't be sadden if I didn't care, so it's not because I'm not a true fan). This is a habit that can and does endanger his LIFE, as well as his looks. You can point at motorcycles or other things being just as dangerous, but statistically, even they are not as dangerous and devastating. I admit, I guess I cannot be as casual about it as others because I have also lost a father to cancer many years ago (as well as a sister, an uncle a month ago, and another uncle has just been given 6 months to live = all, but one, smokers/heavy drinkers). Trust me, I KNOW it's hard to quit (especially with his self-admitted perfectionist/addictive personality, I can relate). I'm sure I have habits in my life that need to be eradicated, but I cannot say, "Oh, Gerry" on this one. I wouldn't from a computer screen hundreds of miles away, and I wouldn't from across a table if I was a "friend." WHATEVER the reason he has picked this up again, I hope he soon realizes that he has a multitude of other choices and resources to deal with it, and stop. NOW. He stopped himself before, maybe this time he should seek help. He would look schmexxxy with almost ANYTHING hanging outta his mouth , so he doesn't need a cig to look that way. And he exudes smolder/smoky all damn day long. Again, don't need a cig to look that way. "He's human." So am I. So, go ahead, gimmie what you got, but I will not change on this one. But I do wish him (and you all) great health.

Thank you Gerry for not man-scaping!!!! Men should have hair under their arms and other more delicate areas!
