I had a request from Tinkerbell to tell the little orange paper story so that new fans or people new to the site will be able to get in on our little intrigue. The day I met Gerry on the set of MGP I brought a sign with the name of the site to attract his attention. It was bright orange and had the name of the site in big six inch black letters. When we got there we rented a room right next door to where they were filming in order to have a place to go to the bathroom. It ended up the bathroom of the room we rented opened up to the set! BATHROOM... THIS IS THE VEIW FROM THE WINDOWWe, (Kloudancer, my daughter, and myself) were standing at the window all excited, taking pictures when the director approached us. He was very nice and told us that we could take all the pictures we wanted but our window was going to be in the shot so when Gerry shows up and they begin to role he needed for us to close the window... and we readily agreed. Anyway, Klousdancer got the idea that we should mark the window somehow as a little, " We were here", and maybe we would see it in the movie." I thought that was an awesome idea and I went next door, borrowed some clear tape, tore a corner off of my bright orange poster and taped it to the outside of the window. Here's me with my sign and notice the corner that is torn off. And imagine my surprise when I came home that night and I saw this picture all over the web. There was one professional photographer there (paparazzi) and he took this picture of Gerry. Notice our window in back of him with our piece of orange sign attached.... So here's a picture of me and Gerry. He ended up being so touched by the sign and the work that was put into it and likely the nerve it took to carry that thing around that he sent for his own camera and had his personal assistant take a picture of me and my sign for him to keep... That was really, really cool. Follow this link for more pictures and the complete story... weiner1proboardscom.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fanencounters&action=display&thread=839&page=5
