Gerard Butler ensured an elderly couple’s anniversary celebrations went smoothly after seeing them having trouble with a table at a restaurant. The Scottish hunk was dining at the exclusive McCormick & Schmick’s eatery in Beverly Hills when he noticed the duo struggling to keep their plates on the table. Realising they were trying to celebrate their special day, Gerard immediately stepped in to ease the situation. “The couple were celebrating their 60th anniversary,” a source explained. “They were having a problem with a wobbly table. Gerard took some sugar packets and balanced the table perfectly.” The pair were bowled over by Gerard’s kindness, but he would not accept their offer of a drink in repayment. The 40-year-old actor has been linked to a series of beautiful woman recently, including Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Although he rarely comments on his romantic status Gerard has admitted he would like to get married, explaining he always thought he’d be settled by his age. “I can totally imagine it. It’s just not right now,” he explained. “I am great where I am but it would be nice. It doesn’t have to be marriage. It could be to be in a relationship and I would definitely like kids some day.” www.musicrooms.net/showbiz/10307-Gerard-Butler-Helps-Out-Couple.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Musicroomsnet+%28Musicrooms.net%29

For such an exclusive eatery, they should notice when a table is out of whack! Leave it to Gerry to go to their rescue. What a guy...wonder if it's true? You know how little stories are printed, such as the one with him taking his mum's jam with him to restaurants to spread on toast he bought there? He said it was sweet, but not true.
I could definitely see Gerry helping the couple out, though. He is such a sweetheart. On a shallow note, I would love to have seen him squatting down, putting those sugar packets under the table leg!

I can see him helping them out, he's always kind and considerate towards others; the fact that he turned down an offered drink also tells me this story rings true. If the story said they shared a drink with the Scottish star or they paid for his drink, then we would have known it was a fake.

On a shallow note, I would love to have seen him squatting down, putting those sugar packets under the table leg! Maybe his shirt rode up a little bit on the back...

his shirt rode up or his pants rode down, oh we bad, no thong though eh? Back to sweet thoughts of sugar packets and a couple celebrating 60 years of marriage, aye carumba.
