More on Movie 43 on IMDb discussion board. A poster has been giving a review on some of the shorts in the film and this is his take on Gerry's short.
The producer of the film made this request on IMDb to the poster:
Thanks for coming to help out with your ideas and thoughts of the film. It is a work in progress and we hope to release it around September. But I would prefer if we keep the plot and story lines a little secret here. Thanks so much for understanding. Hope to show it again in about four weeks for some more feedback.Charles Wessler Producer
So I deleted the comment and link to IMDb I posted in this post.

New article on Movie 43 loyalstudios.wordpress.com/2011/03/16/bob-bekian-and-loyal-studios-co-produce-gerard-butler-as-a-perverse-leprechaun-in-new-peter-farrelly-sketch/"Bob Bekian and Loyal Studios Co-Produce Gerard Butler as a ‘Perverse Leprechaun’ in New Peter Farrelly Sketch Gerard Butler plays a Leprechaun at Loyal Studios Santa Monica Of all the roles Gerard Butler has done, this one seemed to be one of the more entertaining both for him, and for the crew. Peter Farrelly has gathered together a group of A-List actors including Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, and Gerard Butler for his newest sketch-comedy film. The film entitled “Happy Birthday” was co-Produced by Bob Bekian of Loyal Studios. Photo: Brett Ratner and Gerard Butler in the Loyal Studios green room) Butler donned a green screen shirt, leaving only his head visible with wild hair and make-up applications in order to play the role of a leprechaun. “I play the most perverse, disturbing, disgusting, foul-mouthed leprechaun you could ever imagine,” Butler comments. For the ripped star of “300″ and “Gamer”, getting into the role meant getting into the body of someone else –literally. The greenscreen technology utilized for “Benjamin Button” was applied in this shoot in order to place Butler’s head onto the body of a very talented little person. Butler remained on set for the entire multi-hour shoot and was a consummate professional, keeping up the spirits of the cast and crew by cracking jokes and having a good time. “Gerard Butler is a real pro,” says Bekian, “and this project brought together an incredible cast and crew.” With Greg Nicotero of KNB effects working his magic with make-up, and Brett Ratner directing, the creativity in the studio was unbelievable.” The production at Loyal Studios was shot with the Panavision Genesis system. “The genesis is a system developed Between Panavision and SONY to record onto the SONY HDSR tape, which we recorded through a set up with a live greenscreen composite system,” Bekian adds. The cameras and technical support were provided by Pro HD Rentals of Burbank, CA, which set up the entire technical configuration in conjunction with Loyal Studios pre-lit facilities in Santa Monica. New movie poster/ad for MOVIE 43 was posted on GALS site it was a release date of 9/7/11 www.gbgalsgallery.com/v/roles/Movie43/misc/Movie-43.jpg.htmlI can't believe Gerry is going to have again 3 movies released with a month of each other, if this is correct date. Movie 43 is an ensemble film and not Gerry's movie by any means but it still will be subject to reviews so I hope it is not a miss.

It's the month they put all the flicks in they don't have much confidence in....

I agree about September and it looks like the movie is going to be released on Wednesday if that date is correct . GAMER was released over Labor Day weekend and that didn't go well. One can only hope.

I am not looking forward to this movie to be honest. It sounds like it will be pretty gross. I hope Gerry's part is fun at least. I can't say I am thrilled with the way he looks in this one either.
I don't like that they'll release his movies on top of each other again altho I can't see him wasting time promoting this one. I'd rather have them pay attention to MGP.

I'm not looking forward to this movie either even though it has several of my favorite actors and actresses in it and even my number 1 - Gerry. It just sounds weird and gross. The other segments sound just as bad from what I've read and none of the hot men like Gerry and Hugh J. will be recognizable. With having 50 stars in it, I doubt Gerry will have to do a whole lot of promoting.

Well...you know he'll show up at the premiere if he's available -- Gerry loves to go to the movies! He'll have fun and make the most of it. And if I get to see him there (on TV or YouTube, or photos), maybe even get a soundbite from the red carpet...I'm not complaining! Now, Gerry in character will NOT be recognizable - but I'm going to check it out -- I love to hear him cuss, for some reason...

Don't know if I'll go to see this one after all, maybe I'll wait until it's out on DVD and rent it. Eagerly waiting for Coriolanus and MGP.

Except Shellie as we have seen between Gerry and his fellow actors Johnny Knoxville and the other guy in the segment and the actual director of the segment they've already pretty well broadcast the plot line of their segment and then some. Especially Gerry. I guess they did not get the memo LOL. Some screen caps for fun "I'm magically delicious" "This wanker doesn't know I am about to go all leprachaun on his arse" A face only a mother could love "You want action star?" "I'll give you action star!" "Eeyaw! Incoming kamikaze leprachaun" "Now where is me pot of gold"

My brothers are the kind of guys that like the JackAss movies though even my brother said even he couldn't not handle the uh one porta potty scene in the last movie, how apropos. This type of humour either appeals to a certain demographic or you have to be in the right frame of mood, like me after several margaritas. It is hard to do bawdy humour consistently well over a two hour movie. SNL used to do it fairly well with their sketch comedy. But these days they are more miss than hit. Just try and watch Bruno. Borat I could handle but not Bruno. I think Cheech and Chong achieved it with Up in Smoke but that was based on a comedy routine that is a classic. We had the Cheech and Chong albums when we were kids, comedy albums were in then. George Carlin was probably the master though at using profanity and yet still being smart about his jokes. It will be very funny to see some of the celebrities in this movie, can't believe Richard Gere is doing this, good on him.
