Digging found two articles from Dec 2008 www.traileraddict.com/externalnwsshow.php?snub=josh-charles&page=3Peter Farrelly Dips Into Vignette Comedy Tuesday, December 2, 2008 7:35 PM | From Cinematical Last we heard from the Farrelly camp, the brothers were cooking up a re-launch of the Three Stooges. Now, in a bit less aggravating news: One of them, Peter Farrelly, is getting into the trend of cooking up a myriad of shorts for one feature -- a la Paris je T'aime. The Hollywood Reporter posts that Farrelly and Charles Wessler are teaming up with Liberty Media to create a comedy-centric mix that could hold as many as 24 shorts. What names are attached thus far? None, other than Farrelly, who will direct not one, but two shorts. Beyond him, the infamous Brett Ratner, Todd Phillips (Old School), Mike Judge (Office Space), and Blades of Glory directors Josh Gordon and Will Speck are all in talks to write and/or direct. The plan is to score "other actors and directors from across the film world, even some not known for comedy." So far, no city-centric or overriding theme has been given. Some of the names are good, but some -- *cough* Ratner *cough* -- aren't the first names I'd think of in the world of comedy, which makes me wonder what sort of film they're going for. The plus of the Paris and New York collections is the diversity. So, I can only hope that means we'll get not only stateside names like Tina Fey and Christopher Guest, but also some Guy Maddin, Patrice Leconte, Terry Gilliam, Gurinder Chadha... Peter Farrelly Developing Short Film Anthology Tuesday, December 2, 2008 5:07 PM | From The Moving Picture Overture Films and A Bigger Boat joining forces, developing an untitled feature consisting of two dozen short comedy films. The project will be produced by the Peter Farrelly and Charles Wessler and is said to be in the vein of The Groove Tube and The Kentucky Fried Movie. Directors already in talks include Brett Ratner, Todd Phillips, Mike Judge, Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory). Farrelly will also direct two of the shorts. Pre-production is under way and shooting is scheduled to begin in January. Farrelly and Wessler have collaborated previously on There's Something About Mary, Dumb & Dumber, Shallow Hal, Stuck on You and The Heartbreak Kid. Farrelly, along with his brother Bobby, is attached to direct Walter the Farting Dog, which the Jonas Brothers will star in. It was also recently announced that the Farrellys will direct a new Three Stooges film.

Kate Winslet & Hugh Jackman Unite for Short January 16th, 2010 It seems that Kate Winslet’s next project is a comedy. There has been reports of her filming scenes in New York together with Flushed Away co-star Hugh Jackman. It will be a Farrelly brothers directed short, part of a movie consisting of a series of short films. Details are still scarce but we’ll keep you updated when anything new comes up! The following report dates back to October 2009: The Farrelly brothers are at it again. The producing duo, best known for gigglefests like There’s Something About Mary, shot scenes with Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet this week at the Thompson Gild Hall hotel in the Financial District. An industry source confirms that the work will be a part of a series of shorts. According to an onlooker, Jackman and Winslet broke for lunch at the Libertine after wrapping up work on the light-hearted set. “It’s certainly a comedy,” the source says. “They were laughing the whole time.” winsletforever.com/category/movies/peter-farrellycharles-wessler-project/

Butler and Jackman together...if I already haven't had a hysterectomy my uterus may have exploded. Okay, now I've recovered. There are no words. While I doubt Hugh and Gerard would be on screen together, that would absolutely be a testosterone overdose. Women would be fainting in the aisles. There would have to be defibrillators at the concession stand.

I just got this image of women falling out of their seats at the movies, swooning, and sceaming at the same time... Hahahahaha!!

In an interview with Seann William Scott, I believe he mentions this film Interviewer: I'm the only person who enjoyed Mr. Woodcock-- Scott: You did? Dude, you're not the only one. You know who else did? Gerard Butler. I worked with him and Brett Ratner and [Johnny] Knoxville. It's a cool movie with all these awesome actors, all short films. I was so excited to meet him. I love that guy. But he saw Woodcock. He thanked me for it, dude! I was like, 'What? You're the only person I've ever met who saw that movie, except for my mom.' And you! That's great. www.cinemablend.com/new/Interview-Seann-William-Scott-Wants-To-Play-Jack-Skellington-On-Broadway-17218.htmlHe is clearly referrring to the Farrelly film as Ratner and Knoxville are indeed involved. I can only imagine what this film Mr. Woodcock is about, LOL So I wonder if this means GB's segment was directed by Brett Ratner and Sean William Scott and/or Johnny Knoxville were also in the segment, wow that could be really wild. I was under the impression there were 2 actors per segment but who knows if that is correct.
