I wonder if Gerry has read his books or seen Cesar Milan's programs? Lolita just follows right by Gerry in perfect Cesar Milan fashion which would indicate Gerry is the leader.

She is very well trained. I wonder if he carries a poo bag in his pocket because if he doesn't had Loli decides to take a big dumb and he leaves it I'd hate to see some of the boards go wild! I wonder if he'd lose fans among the ruckus?

That is just so cute the way she follows him around. I don't think I have ever seen her on a leash.

It is cute but he really should have her on a leash on the mean streets of LA or NYC. Lots of people got pugs and wee dogs round here but they all got the leashes - I think it's the law around here.
Since Gerry is clearly an alpha male it wouldn't take much to get Lolita to follow her master like a good dog. But sometimes I get the sense she's in charge.
One of my fav shows is End of My Leash. I don't have a dog but I love watching that show, I find it fascinating. This guy Brad Pattison, is the Canadian version of the Dog Whisperer. He too fixes dogs with issues though he says most of the time it's the owners with the issues and they need the training, LOL. He seems to focus just as much on the owners as the dog. I think he's tougher too.

Do you remember the incident with the Greyhound attack on poor little Lolita and it was because she wasn't on a leash. Not that I am saying anything pro or con about having her on a leash. I figure its his dog-his business. She is cute.

But where was the picture taken? Just outside his house or what? I am sure Gerry is keeping an eye on her and watching her like a hawk after what happened with that other dog. He wouldn't want anything to happen to his main lady. I also get the sense that she is in charge most of the time too. With the personality he has indicated she has, it would be weird otherwise. They are cute together, though.

I think if you have a leash, and you see potential trouble coming it is easier to reign in your dog away from the other dog and in the case of a smaller dog, scoop it up. And just because you think your own dog won't attack another dog or small child, doesn't mean they won't so again better off having your dog on a leash so other people feel more comfortable and you avoid lawsuits.
Someone in the neighbourhood had a English bull terrier which they would not have on a leash and it looks like a pitbull so it gave me a heart attack to see this dog off leash. Pit bulls are banned here but if you already owned one before the ban took place you can have them but they not only have to be onleash buty muzzled and the fines are huge if your pitbulls are caught at large. I see a few larger dogs that are also muzzled around here.
Luckily I never see any feral dogs roaming around much anymore, just feral cats. But for example, Gerry likes to go for walks in Runyon Canyon and I'll bet there are off leash dogs and feral dogs and maybe the odd coyote who likes small dogs for breakfast running around that area. But I think he does have a leash for those walks, can't remember.
I probably shouldn't say this but I had a neighbour who had a pug who looked just like Lolita, cute, but he never put her on a leash ever. Well the dog would do her business on my lawn which did not thrill me but I never complained since she was a mini pug and it wasn't that often and I did like the dog otherwise. However when I heard my neighbour had run her over with his truck backing out of his driveway, I and a few other neighbours were not surprised because he let her run loose and she was wee and hard to see. I myself had to be extra careful when driving out of my own driveway and the pug was stupid, she would not move out of the way of a vehicle coming towards her but all the neighbours knew that and kept an eye out for her but we really shouldn't have had to. So good thing none of US ran the dog over. Just saying.

They are the perfect couple!!! She is loyal and so is he. Remember it wasn't long ago that some assumed he have her away. As far as the leash goes, look at his front right pocket... I see something purplish coming out. Could be a leash or pooh bag. G is a big boy who knows what he is doing...good or bad. He is not a comformist and may do things so find shocking like making out on the street in a whim but I love that!!! He is not only sexy and gorgeous, he is exciting and anything but boring. He has a huge heart and marches to HIS own beat...be damned that leash. Actually his neighborhood seems docile and I bet he figures he can save his girl from anythingb that might try to harm her. He's sooooo dangerous, LOL!!!! Soooooooo hot!!!

Most likely he is in his own neighborhood and apparently more disturbingly perhaps the paparazzi know where he lives. It does look like the Hollywood Hills, the weird thing about those neighborhoods is you seldom see anyone walking unless they are maids. It would be fun to be Gerry's neighbor, apparently he is an attentive neighbor. On one of the other fan boards a woman told about meeting Gerry when she appraised the house across the street from his. She was taking photographs when a car pulled out of the drive way across the street, the driver stopped and asked if everything was all right and it was Gerry, who promptly introduced himself, got out of the car and chatted with the woman and then went over and greeted his neighbor.

Lolita does go with G between his homes in NY and LA. She does go on set with him sometimes here in America. But she was not with him while he was filming Law Abiding Citizen and a rumor spread across Gerryland that he had given Lolita away. And that rumor turned out to be wrong! I had a good laugh over that one. I remember it was assumed in some quarters based on no proof at all.
