Personally if Gerry ever does settle down with one girl long enough so we figure it out or he is open about it, he could totally surprise everyone. I actually think his tastes run the gammut even if he tends towards a certain "diet" these days. Shortlegged no unless Hayden Pantierre gets her wish. LOL. At least he is a tall man that prefers tall women - I am 5'7" and I have lots of friends who are 5'10" and nothing pisses us off more than see men over six feet with women under five foot five. We call those women "Spinners". I apologize in advance to all the lucky women here who snagged tall men, who are under five foot five. I did notice Elizabetta giving Gerry a certain look out of the corner of her eye when George's head was turned the other direction, like hmmm, maybe time to trade George in for a younger model. But Amanda is the buxom blonde bombshell as I see from her website and photos, former Miss Ireland. That is consistent for Gerry he has a few beauty queens in the repetoire though she didn't bite. LOL!!! I heard the word spinner before, also lets be clear that to be a spinner you also need to be the perfect weight and that is 110 lbs or less. This man can have any woman he wants. It will be interesting to see what kind of woman he will pick if he ever settles down. I can't help but remember his quote, "Even the most beautiful woman in the world has a man somewhere that is tired of fucking her." Makes you wonder if he stands in front of the bakery counter wondering which cupcake is going to satisfy him and doesn't buy any cause he can't decide.

Yeah but the rest of the quote is: "In a way, it’s a horrible thing to say, but what I take from that is that it isn’t all just about beauty. It’s about something more substantial than that."
There is no doubt in my mind that Gerry loves sex, but number 1 is career-career-career. That’s not so much fun for the gossip press to focus on. One of his many quotes from Oscar night was that it would be too much of a bother to take a date with him. And it is the sort of occasion to take a serious partner to, because so much of that evening is made up of promotion and networking and a wife or long term girlfriend would understand the priority of the evening. It’s not the night for a getting to know you first date.
I can see him on the same trajectory as Clooney, in a few years Gerry will turn up in more serious relationships. At the point where he feels he has accomplished more of his goals.
If there is one thing I find very annoying is so called friends of Gerry (I’m looking at you Miss Ireland) reveling to the press details about their so called dear friend. I have a feeling Gerry is learning who is his real friends are. Avoid the self important tattle tellers at all cost.

Well you know what was interesting - Brad Cooper did not show up with Renee Zellwegger even though they apparently hooked up later. I think it is just because the press makes such a big deal and misintreprets the littlest things, like dancing with Madonna, that you can understand why he would want to subject himself and any woman to even worse.
I was surprised that a woman who is a supposed friend of Gerry would talk to the press about that kind of thing unless she got an OK from him, who knows, but she is an author now and has a new book coming out.

Ah ha! The truth comes out! I didn't really believe the "he slept with all my friends" thing. Well, maybe if she only has 1 friend. I can see him enjoying sex and the conquest, but I'm still not buying the man-whore thing.

Maybe her problem was he only asked the one time. Then had a fling with one of her friends and did not ask her again. She might have wanted to be wooed and pursued and G didn't want to waste time on that stuff, at least with her.

I'm with you Okie, Gerry is so well liked there is no way someone can go through women like that without one stepping forward and really putting up some kind of huge stink. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Plus you would think that there would be a few baby Butlers out there. Look at Charlie Sheen and his sexcapades... It all comes out in the wash for Charlie even his notorious love for prostitutes and in that line of work it behooves a woman to keep her mouth shut. I would be more inclined that Gerry has some friends with benefits. Maybe even quite a few friends in fact.

Ok, so what are you saying that if he gets a short chick, you hate her for being short. Because frankly if the man is looking for a challenge he's looking in the right place because short chicks are a challenge mentally and physically. Tall women get all the men, short chicks basically have to be a scavenger to get a man. So don't be all offended when a short chick gets a tall handsome man to boot. OK, trying not to be bitchy here. But some of us short chicks hasn't had the luck of getting anyone period.!!!!!

I was just kidding leosgurl and the reality is that it is the tall thin gorgeous model or model looking chicks who have better luck, the rest of us no matter what height aren't in the model zone so we're all in the same boat.

HA! LOL...i liked your point though canadia ' which cupcake to choose from, can't decide, hence...buy none'? oooh, even though said wryly...there's truth in them thar words..... ironically leosgurl, last summer queenie made a funny statement that gerry could end up with a short, chubby 'ethnic' girl from brooklyn. LOL...what'd ya think? hmmmmm. NOoooooooo...LOL from what i hear, short men have it 'worse-off' than short women. BUT...there are SO many 'short' people who are world famous! remarkable. hollywood is filled with tiny people. i met & had drinks with stevie ray vaughn. WOW guitariest. dynamic...but, extremely tiny.... just saying....the heart has more to do with height (smile)

I'm at 5' 5" tall exactly.... I've always wanted to be with a man who's taller than me. He doesn't have to be 6 feet or more, but I won't date a man who's shorter than me... I just can't see myself with a man who's 5' 4" or less. I know I'm not Gerry's type because he primarily dates women who are tall. My legs are short... I have to buy my jeans in petite because average is too long and the cuffs drag on the ground and sometimes I step on them.

pfst! LOL..hey lepp - rolled cuffs on jeans are back in style, right? at least you're wearing jeans...personally, i refuse to put a pair on (ONLY levis straight legged) till i loose the weight! humph
speaking of which, 'who will win gerry's heart'? this IS PRIMO speculation of the day. haven't read g's latest interviews (can't wait) but there was a blurb made by ja re: family/friendship and.... WTH? are the journalist messing up NOW? suggesting they're having 'affair' b/c film promo? pfst! PaLeeZ, will you stop with this shit....what is WRONG with these folks? (ie. media) pfst..oh, i forgot...(whisper) they're not 'real' journalists....they're gossip mungers PRETENDING to be writers (wink, wink)...gotcha! snap.....
if ja and gb AREN'T having an 'affair' i wonder, why not? who exactly is g waiting for?
more to follow........

There's so much to respond to in this thread that I don't know where to start. Oh yea, what the heck are you doing up so early, Dawne??!! Getting ready to turn your clock ahead? Couldn't resist. Oh yea, what the heck is this little icon? Is it Gerry's? Did anyone measure to make sure it was accurate?
Sorry, got distracted. About the short girls issue. I'm 5'9" and it has always been a problem for me because women's pants are made for shorter women, so there. I have to buy men's pants! I've also only dated two guys that have been taller than me, for some weird reason so go figure? it's not what you've got that counts, but what you do with it.
Now what is the thread I'm responding to? Oh dear, I forgot. Oh yea, who will ultimately win Gerry's heart? He did say he doesn't do relationships and I'm thinking that has a lot to do with Gerry growing up in a one parent household. Being able to relate to that myself, relationships are difficult when you don't have a role model or fear of making the same mistakes your parents did. Right now, Gerry is young and verile and can have whatever he wants when he wants it so he doesn't even have to think about settling down yet, if that's even on his radar for the future, even though he says he will. Picture this: If and when Gerry does get married, we'll all be devastated but happy for him. On the other hand, Gerry is and will always be HOTTER than HELL and he'll always be hit on until the day he dies. How would any woman be able to maintain her composure and unconditional love for him knowing that being married doesn't mean he's now invisible to the rest of the world. Does that make sense or am I just being a rambling rose here?
With that said, you can stop speculating now. I am still single and I fit the criteria of Gerry's perfect mate, she says rolling on the floor gathering cat fur.

Height is a non-issue for me. I'm 5'9" and my very best friend since 7th grade is 5'2" I used to envy her cause she seemed to get all the male attention. You tell a man you are 5'2" and 105 lbs and their eyes light up...."eww a spinner!" I think quite a few men like petite girls, makes them feel manly. I always felt big and clumsy compared to my friend.
