Good lord, I wondered if he would be off to Sundance but he doesn't have a film showing, does one of his friends?

Duh, now I think about it, now that he is a producer he might want to buy a little film for distribution if it catches his fancy, and of course push some of his own projects in development and of course generally schmooze.

Lets pray G doesnt cast Paprika in Burns. Ugh!!!!! Im not too familiar with Burns, but I did do some reading about him in college and I believe he had a pretty steaming and controversial affair (at the time) with an Indian woman.

I can't remember when it was, but Gerry once said in an interview that Julia Stiles was very interested in Burns. Now, how long ago it was, and if she still is, I don't know.

Burns had many women. He was thinking of casting Julia for the lead female (wife role). He had lots of women, affairs. I think G will like this part

Burns was torn between his wife and his great love Jean Armour, neither was Indian, so unless they are going to attempt some neutral casting I don't see a part for Priyanka in this. Remember she is huge star in India, it's likely she wouldn't be taking a bit part in Burns. I could see her turning up in Machine Gun Preacher, as an aid worker or something.

Burns had many affairs...he was a well known womanizer and I do believe he had a rather controversial affair with an Indian woman. I was just putting it out there as a possibility. She is no star and its no star part if they even include this affair in the movie.

Was that an East Indian or West Indian woman, wasn't Burns in Jamaica at one point?
The reality is that it depends on PC's long range goals and she strikes me as an ambitious actress, she might want to break into Hollywood and one of the best ways to do that is to do a small but memorable role in a good indy flick. Mainstream audience in North America have no clue about Bollywood. A good indy role proves you just aren't some pretty Bollywood face. For foreign actresses, just because you are a star in India or Iran or China, you still have to earn your chops in Hollywood. It gets your foot in the door though.

He was close though. He had already bought a ticket for the ship, and found a job, but because if different circumstances, he never went.
