You know what? I have yet to see Gerry linked with a red head. We red heads need some g-man loven too!

When I became a Gerry fan in '05 rumor was that he loves red heads. I have no idea where that came from. I think he had a huge crush on Anna Friel and she has reddish-brown hair. There are some pics of him and her dirty dancing at some party.... lots of chemistry there.... But she had her eyes on David Thewlis....

You mean Gerry had a crush on a petite, fair skinned redhead who did not return his love? Well, that explains it then. This is why he turned to taller, dark skinned, dark haired ladies. The other kind is still too painful. LOL! Just kidding. :-) But truth be told you can tell in the extras of timeline that there was chemistry and they were hanging out together. Who knows...?

I've always wondered what went on/ did not go on between Anna and Gerry... They clearly liked each other A LOT, yet she ended up with David Thewlis.... But looking at pics like this make me wonder www.gbgalsgallery.com/v/partiesetc/2004/vuitton604/g40.JPG.htmlwww.gbgalsgallery.com/v/partiesetc/2004/vuitton604/g41.JPG.htmlOr this... www.gbgalsgallery.com/v/partiesetc/2004/vuitton604/a7.jpg.htmlGerry was also seen with Penny Lanchaster at the same party (now Rod Stewart's wife) but he has way more chemistry with Anna I think.

Thanks everyone, now if only Gerry would agree that I am his type......!! He looks so cute in those pictures posted by gerrysarchitect (who I met in the Coriolanus line up and was lovely - hey!). I saw him first at the George Stromboulopoulos Party - I was lucky enough to go last year, and we got tickets again this year, really lucky connections. Like I mentioned in one of my TIFF postings, if we weren't sitting in the inner bar for a few minutes, hanging out, we wouldn't have even caught sight or wind of Gerry. So lucky! Then at MGP after party, just a drive by really, the time it took us to get out of the lot at Roy Thompson Hall and drive a few minutes to Church St., a limo was turning in and he got out! We zoomed in, and took our shot. He was great, but a little flighty wanting to get inside so it was a rushed pic. I took a pic with Ray Liotta rushed like that too at the airport last year, and I didn't have time to compose myself and really pose !! and I said to myself, if I had the chance with Gerry I would take the time, but really, he seemed a little impatient and we didn't want to push it. I think he just wanted to get inside. Not like he was just going to hang out on the sidewalk, though we would have loved that. Always said that's not how I want to meet him, with press and crowds, but given the chance outside the after party with so few people, he just didn't give that vibe that he wanted to hang out. I hate to say it (don't shoot me) but I think he's great with fans when the paparazzi is around or there are crowds (after all, it's all PR right?), and somewhat different without all that. Too bad....but no regrets! It was a thrill for sure. My dream was to bump into him at Starbucks where I would buy him his drink and we'd sit and chat for hours....ya right! I got real close though, so I'm a happy girl

I got real close though, so I'm a happy girl You know I think, like everyone else it depends on what kind of mood he's in. The day I met him for the first time he was so awesome and friendly and I heard from a gal that was in with him while he was filming, that he was singing, making jokes, laughing and really talking it up with everyone. Then the day I was an extra (it happened to be the day he broke up with Laurie C) he was not so up beat. He was talking and joking around with the people on set that he knew, but he kept to himself otherwise. He did smile and nod at me though. He deffinately didn't hang at the set no more than he had to though. As soon as his part was over he would head straight to his trailer. A gal I know was there for an autograph and she said he seemed to be just going through the motions. He is sweet about not disappointing fans but he was not up for giving anyone and extra thrill like he did for me that day I first met him. Remember also as well, when he was filming PTF he practically did backflips for a few of our members who were lucky enough to meet him in Shreveport. So like everyone else, it depends how his day is going. You know, Gerry is always late... I mean always... I would give dollars to donuts that he was late for the party when you met him on the sidewalk. PS: Not to give the impression that Gerry is moody. From what I have ever read about him he is usually really up beat. And by me observing him with his castmates the day I was an extra I would say that none of them even knew he was having an off day. He had everyone laughing who stood around with him. He was just not into making small talk with strangers.

Yes, definitely Gerry's type.

I think he may have been a bit stressed there, having two movies and all these parties and schmoozing to do with the powers in his industry. I've read what fans experienced at TIFF in '05 when he was much less famous and it's just not like that anymore...
