Fifi--the whacko van is on it's way! Hold on! We'll spring you from jail if you land in there. Maybe we can pickup Gerry on the way. Have a good time and don't get in too much trouble!

This is the Cooper WaveHouse. www.nytimes.com/2012/03/15/garden/the-architect-harry-gesner-still-riding-that-wave.html?_r=0Harry Gesner is the architect who designed the Wave House and he is also a surfer so that explains the photo of Gerry waxing a surf board was apparently taken in his surf board shaping shop Zen Cove - I can't find a reference for such a place in California just Florida. Must be local nicknames for some of these places like I can't find Harry's Beach but now that must be the beach in front of the Wavehouse?

I think the photos were done around time G did reshoots for PFK -- he cut his hair to match summer of 2011 & it would've been short eno to be straightened out for shoot. It's before Cannes. March, early April.

MG aside, what else does he say? A US fan told me that it is a very interesting interview. If someone can scan and post in high quality so that it is readable, non US members will be very very grateful! :-)

They had pics from men's home journal on E news tonight and gave snippets of the article. Gerry said people assumed he went to Betty Ford for alcohol but that was not true. He said he went for pain pills and was taking the minimal amount when he went in. He said it was more about becoming a mental warrior and not let pain bother you. That was all they said.

Best part of article was the interviewer describing "Maddie" waiting for Gerry in the helicopter "standing at the end of the dock, is Ghenea, looking very Romanian-lingerie-model-y. Did she come out in her underwear ROTF. It's a very good article. She is only briefly mentioned when he talks about the night they met - did not say where or when - plus the bit about calling her to come out see him in helicopter.

Some excerpts from the interview start to come out, this is about rehab, very candid ... uk.eonline.com/news/355044/gerard-butler-on-almost-dying-rehab-maybe-a-stronger-person-wouldn-t-have-needed-to-goGerard Butler may look solid as a rock (his chest certainly seems to be made of granite), but he's only human on the inside. "Maybe a stronger person wouldn't have needed to go," the Scottish actor says in the November issue of Men's Journal, talking about the three weeks he spent at the Betty Ford Center in February. "When you hear the word rehab, you think, ‘He's a mess, he's f--ked up.' But I'm glad I did it. I've made a s--tload of wrong decisions in my life. But I know I've made some right ones as well." To be clear, Butler emphasizes that he didn't go to rehab for alcohol abuse, a rumor that really "pissed [him] off." "I haven't had a drink in 15 years," says the Bounty Hunter star, who admits to having an addictive personality. Rather, he checked into a pain-management program after being injured in a surfing accident while shooting Chasing Mavericks, which comes out Friday. "I was actually taking a minimal amount [of pills] when I went in," Butler recalls. "It was more about becoming a mental warrior and not letting pain bother you. The [instructor] would say, ‘I don't want to hear about your f--king MRIs or your f--king X-rays...Let's learn how to say to the pain, 'F--k you.'" As for the accident, during which Butler was pushed underwater by a wave for almost a minute, he says he had "visceral" flashbacks and his mind ended up in a place where he "didn't want it to be." "They really do rip you apart," Butler says of rehab, which he compares to "spring cleaning." "You get rid of a bunch of s--t, realize a bunch more s--t, and you make a plan." We're just hoping his plan involves more movies.

Yeah, the plan part seemed a little bit funny. I thought G wasn't one for making plans cause things never worked out when he did make them. lol
