I just discovered Gerry and joined. I'm learning my way around the message board. This may be in the wrong thread but I don't know where else to start.
I saw someone on here that was a movie extra but don't remember who.
Does anyone know about how much an extra is paid? My brother fits the hard life, scruffy look. At this point is his available to do it. If chosen, how much notice do you get to be there?

Tell your brother to do it and you should as well if you live in the Atlanta area. I got around $50.00 for one days work and I had a blast.... I would have paid them...LOL!!! Ha! Trouble is you get very short notice. Sometimes the day of, sometimes the day before and for me I got notice on Saturday for Monday. So the average answer of notice given is likely the day before. Hey, I hope you continue to post. We have lots of nice people here and we do have a lot of fun. If you post you won't be ignored.

Thanks for the info!
Did you see yourself in the film?
"Witness", with Harrison Ford, was filmed in PA years ago. My english teacher, Mrs. Snavely was a close up at the funeral in the beginning. That was so cool.
It must be cool to do that. Do you have a link to your experience? I was reading one about a woman who was an extra on an elevator in Michigan I think. I forgot what movie. Was that your story?
