Hi there ladies...
My name is Debbie and I am another 40 something chick who really admires Gerry.
I saw him in Timeline and loved the show but didn't check up on Gerry until May 2005 when I saw POTO. Went to Imdb and found that they were one and the same. Then I went looking to find out more about the actor that really moved me with his acting and his voice and his ability to say a million things without uttering a word. The search led me to GB.net. What impressed me most was that he was willing to interact with his fans (the welcome on the main page) and how wonderfully nice he treated the web mistress (He sent her a limosine and gave her flowers and set her up on the same floor during the POTO London premiere).
I then read every interview I could get my hands on. There is quite a depth to this man. Much more than a handsome face and nice body. Since then I have seen every work he has done on film. Am I weird? I know you would all say NO!
Anyway, in my searching for all things Gerry, I found an awesome fiction story. Yes, it is about Gerry himself but it was very respectful and when I read it I believed the author was percieving the same things I got out of Gerry while reading those interviews. I think he is a passionate, excitable, happy, sensitive person. I think you might like the story so I am sending you the link. It is very well written and the woman who wrote it is one of my very favorite authors. I hope to someday have one of her published works sitting, autographed on my bookshelf.
Here is Meg and Gerard. Enjoy!!

Let me know what you think!

I am sorry ladies but I did not realized that when Lynn's board switched from EZboard to YUKU it took all of her quotation marks down. If you are really interested in reading this, let me know. I have it copied on a personal site with all the quotes intact. I just don't share it because they are Lynn's stories and I wouldn't want to do something unethical so I would first have to get Lynn's permission to share it. I could then email it to you in a document. Please let me know!

Oh, i soooo hope for it, too, Debbie. I'm a relatively new fan, first noticed him in PSILY, got really interested and then i realised i had another DVD of him not been seen. It was POTO - go figure!- and it was my undone. Besides his drop dead gorgeous appearance -which doesn't really turns me on, if not for another kind of charm/ intellectuality - i liked his extroversy and sense of humor showed in his interviews. Yet i have yet to discover a profound intellectuallity and social consern such as let's say on Colin Firth - My Mr Darcy of all times. I'm glad you say there is such and i'm looking forward to read more interviews of him... Thanks for posting...

Hi again. Sorry that I did not get back to a couple of you before now but I had to go back home (IL) because of a death in my family. Anyway, I told that at Lynn Irwin Stewart's site there were some great stories to read but unfortunately all the quotation marks were lost went EZboard switched to the new YUKU format. Well, I went over there and started reading a little and I would just advise you guys to muddle through (it's not that hard) because they are such wonderful stories. I am gonna put a little synopisis below for you guys for each story. I think you might find them interesting!! So...go and register so you can read them. Some are hidden so you might have to send a request to Lynn. Tell her Deb sent you. lynnirwinstewart.yuku.com/directoryMEG AND GERARD... Yup, all Gerry Butler. Respectful, not icky. I even cried in a couple of spots. My first Lynn story and I stuck around and read more of her work because of it! MR. PARRISH... This is a romantic (not really scary) vampire story!!! I personally have NEVER read anything so romantic! Gerard Butler is the muse! I would let MR. P bite me anytime! You will love this! ALANNAH.... This is a romantic fantasy novel. Starts out in US and Scotland and, while not time travel as in Outlander, it's travel to a different medival place called the Inside. Again, Gerry is the muse for Ivan. EXCELLENT ! { Sigh} TWO SUMMERS IN SCOTLAND... I really liked this. Gerry Butler young and Gerry Butler grown up is the muse for Gavin. Really nice short story. You will like it! (Tori is the heroine!! ;D) FINDING JAMIE FRASIER... This is just a cool modern story. Romantic with a lookalike Jamie Frasier from Outlander thrown in. Great! HOME... Of all Lynn's stories, this is my absolute favorite and feel it's most likely to be published. This is a sweet, tearjerker romance. Irish singer Brian Kennedy is the muse for Michael. Hope you like. Let me know!!! Deb

Nope.. not mine... Lynn wrote every one of those listed above.
I like to write and am working on one but it is for my own little writing (and fantasizing) pleasure.
