EXCLUSIVE: After Harry Potter¢s Daniel Radcliffe turned in great numbers on the CBS Films-distributed The Woman In Black, and Emma Watson readies for a re-team with David Yates in Your Voice Inside My Head for Warner Bros, what has become of that bratty Draco Malfoy, who tormented the hell out of Potter and his wand-waving mates over eight films? Tom Felton is in negotiations to star opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Glenn Close in Therese Raquin. Written and set to be helmed by acclaimed theater director Charlie Stratton, the film¢s being produced by William Horberg and Mickey Liddell. Close is attached for the role of Madame Raquin, and Olsen for Therese, who, with her lover Laurent, murder her husband (Felton), a sick boy that Madame Raquin forced Therese to marry. After Therese later marries her true love, the couple is haunted by the ghost of the dead husband and it poisons their love into all-consuming hatred. I've read the book when Gerry was in talks to play Laurent years ago. It's a very dark story and Laurent is not a good guy. However Gerry would have been perfect. But they'll probably go for young and cast "it" boy Channing Tatum. That would be so wrong but that's what they'll do. Laurent was handsome but not in a pretty boy way. He was a handsome brute, very dangerous and bad. Gerry with long curly black hair would fit the description of the character in the book pretty well. Don't know any of these young "it" boys that could pull it off. However Tom Felton is pretty perfect as Therese's pale husband. Interesting enough Glenn Close is still attached, she was on board back then too as Madame Raquine.

I would have loved to see him in something like this more than in an action film... I thought since Glenn Close was still attached, so would be Gerry but i guess not.
