This is great. You would never have imagined that he lives like this. Yet another side of Gerry where he just surprises us. I had seen some of the pictures before some where else, they are just gorgeous. Love the kitchen. I am so into the whole rugged look. Love the wood, and I can definitely see him standing there eating his breakfast...Oh, and I see his Cock-hat hanging in the background. The theater look so nice and cozy. Romantic and rugged. That's our Gerry!!! On a sidenote, this is great publicity for him right now given the other picture form Paris, which was not really well received... Oh, I will be buying this when it comes out.

Fuck me, he's sexy! Thanks Vicki for posting these!!!! Love the way this loft is decorated... LOL!!! What's up with the shoes on the floor in front of the fridge... Nice collection of hats, the chandelier and I like the distressed cabinets and island. When I move in I don't have to change a thing!!!!

HOLY COW! Could he be cuter in that chair picture. He makes my woman parts hurt. Three buttons undone on his shirt and barefooted too. That is just wrong, wrong, wrong. I don't know how much more I can take. On another note, he sure likes hats. Oh, and why would a non-drinker have a bottle of wine on the coffee table? Hmmm. I'm not really into the Neoclassic look, but I do love the open rafters. I may pick this up. Will he be on the cover?

I'm starting to think that if we look around really hard we might spot Waldo.

LOL Another odd thing is the hem line on the bottom of his jeans. Maybe he's lost so much weight he is fitting into his high school jeans that were let down when he shot up 3 inches.

Yep! I so can't wait for this issue to come out. Look at how relaxed he is.... and I love it when he shows chest hair. Verra sexy. I saw a blip on ET last night where they showed pictures of his loft, but didn't say it was his at first, but I knew it was because I had seen these pics before on a thread here about his loft. His kitchen looks Tuscany themed, I love that look.

Gerard Butler Finds Another Way to Woo Women Today 11:45 AM PDT by Peter Gicas Despite all the speculation, Gerard Butler is most likely not dating his Bounty Hunter costar, Jennifer Aniston. But this might get her interested. No, we're not referring to Gerry's charming pose on the cover of Architectural Digest—two months after her own house porn spread—but rather the photos inside that reveal the actor's gorgeous renovated loft in NYC. "I guess I would describe the apartment as bohemian old-world rustic château with a taste of baroque," Gerard tells the mag about his pad that features 13-foot-tall mahogany doors, ceiling frescos and crystal chandeliers. Did we mention it's two stories with an adjoining roof terrace? In Manhattan, that's worth a date alone. Tune in to E! News tonight at 7 p.m. for a peak into Gerard's bedroom! By the way the things you find out of place was likely placed by a stager. People that come in before an open house and give the place a special touch. In big cities it is a whole industry.

I believe that's right about the photographer adding things to give the pictures ambiance, the wine bottle and the other weirdly placed items... still not getting the sneakers in front of the fridge.

ny.curbed.com/archives/2010/03/31/gerard_butlers_very_masculine_chelsea_loft_soho_hotel_gets_artsy.php Gerard Butlers very masculine Chelsea LoftSOHO—The large-and-in-charge James New York, the hotel rising on Grand Street on the former site of the Moondance Diner, will open this August, according to a press release. And whereas other neighborhood newcomers have been criticized for being a bit blah, the James gang is trying to pump some of that Soho artistry into the place. Some design details: "The hotel has chosen SoHo based ArtistsSpace (www.artistsspace.org), a non-profit artist collective to design each one of the guest floor corridors. They will use the walls, floors, ceilings and basic corridor spaces as a canvas. Even the smallest of details will be expertly designed- Artist John Paul Phillipe (www.j-pinc.com) will create unique room number art for each of the 114 guest rooms; Piet Boone will contribute to the design and architecture of the penthouse suites." There's even a furniture curator! Your move, Mondrian Soho. [CurbedWire Inbox] CHELSEA—Movie star Gerard Butler was recently spotted checking out a Noho penthouse, but he seems pretty happy in his newly renovated 3,300-square-foot Chelsea loft, which has 13-foot-tall mahogany doors, frescos everywhere, crystal chandeliers and columns topped with limestone lions. Seriously. We know this because he's the cover subject of the May issue of Architectural Digest. (On newsstands April 6! Here's an excerpt and picture.) This is how the rugged Scotsman describes his place: "I wanted something elegant and gorgeous and at the same time rather masculine and raw. I guess I would describe the apartment as bohemian old-world rustic chateau with a taste of baroque." Yeesh, another one of those? [Architectural Digest]
