To Scrapbook or not to scrapbook

So I have a scrapbook and it has all my siggies I've collected over the last year (don't ask long story), magazine clippings, and some stuff from friends have sent me.

Now I am one to just cut & tape. I can glue too. Scrapbooking is super fancy and beyond me, LOL!

However I've had Marek on the brain all day long and all day yesterday since LeppardLady gave me this scrumcious banner. I need help putting together one page in my scrapbook for JUST a Marek page...can be front and back or just front. I can take measurements.

All ideas are welcomed.

I'm very tired as of late & to add to that have a lot of injuries that finally have names as of today after seeing an orthopedic surgeon.

I've spent a wee bit too much money so I wanna do a page within my budget (I know there are cute stuff at craft stores that can be bought). I have my new printer up & running with fresh ink, I just don't wanna run the ink down, LOL!

I need some serious Marek love.

I'm also trying to be a very, very good girl and not get the action figure of Marek...not yet anyways...I wanna give it some time...

I am a scrapbooker (the fancy kind).....YAY!!!! I will think this over tonight and come up with an idea. I've gone on scrapbooking weekends... to bad you don't live close I have all the stuff, tools and such. I will think of something you can do.

OK, I will give you ideas that you can get off the internet or your computer and make a cute page. All you need to do is think about what the movie is about and go with it as a theme.

First you can make a banner and in big letters using a font (Maybe Old English) out of microsoft word: TIME LINE to put at the top of your page.

Glue in your banner or any other pictures you want and since the movie is about going back in time I would find a picture, via the internet of an old pocket watch with chain (a good size one at least two inches big) and cut that out glue it somewhere on the page. You may also cut out just words and glue them in various places around the page that go with the theme of the movie. You can write these as well using microsoft word. Like "Time travel" "Find the marker" whatever springs to your mind. Maybe glue in a picture of ruins from an archaeologist dig. Scrapbooking pages are like a collage.

Here's an example of a random page using words as decoration. Just glue the things on the page in different angles to make it interesting.

I'm not a very, very good girl... I have an action figure of Andre (I couldn't help myself ) and it's about 11" tall. I also have a (smaller scale) action figure of King Leonidas.... I'm a girl.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I were to start scrapbooking Gerry or picking up action figures my hubby would have me committed!! No doubt in my mind. He is rather accomodating of everything else.

I told my dad my "Gerry table" is finally too full unless I begin to stack things & make it look tacky. He just laughed. I'll have to do some looking online when I'm not about to crash & burn. HTTYD in 3D was awesome & cute. Loved the dragon & how it was portrayed...Toothless the dragon...

Now to get my hands on a TBH poster...where Gerry is sitting on Jenn. Movie theater I went to didn't give me any help.

Naw I'm gunna be a good girl seeing as I've spent quite a bit of "fun money" already on me & now I'm paying doctors' bills....ER visit & then seeing an ortho. My money is being drained & I still have to pull out my tax return (no clue how as I don't have savings nor do I have a check book & I need the money out) so I can use it for something special & oddly enough non-Gerry related.

Off to bed I go.
