OMG!!! I just got done reading this article and it was excellent. The most honest Gerard Butler interview I have ever read and it only served to make me like this man more. I heard that some of the fans that have made Gerry out to be something of the second coming of Christ were very upset with some of the revelations but to me this made him so much more likable. It showed him as a real person, admittedly insecure who is inclined to be his own worst enemy as far as making himself anxiety ridden. He is hard on himself at the same time as being impulsive and only thinking in the moment. That makes him almost always late for important things where he constantly is bawling himself thinking, "Gerry, you are really fucked this time!" He says he spends a majority of his time in his own head... anyway... I won't go into everything but it is a must read!!!!

CAN'T FIND THIS MAG ANYWHERE? GAK!someone said barnes & noble? off we go....to barnes & noble! I got it at the drug store, CVS. He also talked about his habit of saying what comes off the top of his head and getting in trouble for it. He said...."He was invited over Jen Anstion's house for a tree trimming party at Christmas time and he told the journalist... "Yep I trimmed Jen Aniston's bush!"...He laughed and then said, "Don't put that in the article!" Well evidently the journalist didn't listen. The article showed Gerry in a very good light and was complimentary but VERY honest. I think Gerry is a very cool guy and I would definitely want him in my circle of friends. The article showed him as a down to Earth sweetheart. The article did elude that he was hung...well we know that. We aren't blind by the way he bulges in his jeans. You know as far as some fans being disenchanted by this article... well they are following the wrong man, maybe they should switch there adoration on someone like Joel Osteen, because Gerry on the other hand does not tout himself as a righteous, holy man.

I love the description of him with the fan that approaches him. How he's a hugger. I would love to have a hug like that one day. He seems like a great hugger. I have read that several places. One interview on You Tube, the girl interviewing him, mentions that on the set of TUT he would give everyone a hug every morning. Now that's a very good reason for coming into work every day!

I love this man because he's real.... he doesn't hide who he is, what you see is what you get with him. He's a man's man.

You know, as a general rule, I find people who don't take themselves too seriously to be much more likable. He's just a guy who acts. Of course, we're all in love with him because of that, but he doesn't hold himself above others. It's nice. There are too many in the business who think they're "above" their fans. Arrogance is a major turn off. I think we're in agreement that his honesty endears him to us even more. I can't imagine liking him less for it.

Gerry's flaws and imperfections are what make him appealing really. Perfect people are boring.
