I know for a fact that Gerry was wearing a back brace when he visited the GALS convention in Las Vegas, because you can see it in some of the pics. He is known to have a bad back, and there is no way he was wearing a "mirdle" that night, because he was as thin as a rail back then. People with bad backs wear supports around their middle. Matter of fact, my hubby is wearing one right now and he has no belly fat at all. He's having a flare-up with his back trouble from work. I'm not saying Gerry would never wear something to help suck in a bit of tummy, but it could also be a back brace. Swannie yes, my ex-brother inlaw, who's physically fit and mid 40's has had to wear one for his lumbar back prob's....it works by keeping tension in the area...he also tries yoga and chiropractic 'tenz' machine if it gets really spastic...poor gerry if this is the case....

I have not seen the movie Gamer yet but what I can't get over is how his jaw looks so square in this movie, but then when I see the interview photos behind the scenes from the same movie, his jaw looks back to normal. The man is a conundrum.
PS What a treat, Tomb Raider on the telly, have I not seen that enough but I can't turn it off once I see it is Terry Sheridan, even though I already have the movie in the collection, but to top it off there were commercials for the Gamer DVD. Double dose. Sigh.

That has to be on Bluray, because I did not get that on my DVD copy... I feel cheated. Oh yeah, he has a great tushy!! Nice cheeks, Gerry. It's there on the normal DVD. Look again. It's at the very end of the segment titled "Inside the Game, Controlling Gamer"
It's at the end of part three after the end credits in all his glory. It's also (at least for now) on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd9ZhOKxmtwEnjoy. Oh, that explains it, I usually stop it when it gets to the credits; I'll have to go back and watch (and take screen shots) that segment.

Well, well, Gamer is apparently killing on the home video, Blu Ray rental market, which is not surprising considering this is where they were expecting to do well. It might have been wise to do a limited release of the movie in September, instead of a wide release and give a big push to the DVD video release. As much as I dislike this movie I am glad to see it do well for Gerry's sake. www.movieweb.com/news/NEnEVpnvEQT7rrNothing could stop Gerard Butler's new action film to hit the high score all on three home video charts. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gamer swept the home video charts as the top-selling DVD, top rental and top Blu-ray seller.

I think that Gerry has his fan base and Michael C Hall has his fan base which accounts for the success of the DVD. This is a movie that appeals to the large gamer community and they just are not the type to go to the movie theatre. Shoot I rarely go myself - I am usually content to wait until it comes on cable or out on DVD since there isn't as much lag time anymore. Especially since going to the theatre isn't always pleasant - 2 of my last few experiences - I was with friends and these rude teenagers that the ushers would do nothing about were disrupting the movie for everyone so I actually sat right with them and said if you are going to behave like children you need a babysitter and they finally settled down, or I was at a scary movie and the idiots behind me talking incessantly through it ruined it - I gave them dirty glares which worked for only a few minutes. People have forgotten how to behave in a movie theatre because they are used to watching movies at home now. I don't mind the odd comment but talking all throughout the movie esp a suspenseful movie, grrr. If it ever happens again I will make a fuss early. But the moments I was going to say something, chatterboxes would stop talking and the screen got quiet so then I would have been disrupting the whole theatre. I thought this was funny as my parents are from the Netherlands The Dutch are wise enough to use subtitles and not dubbing. I don't know why people do the dubbing and not subtitles though I know a person who writes the dub scripts for Italian movies - what a hard job. Can you imagine being denied Gerry's accent is so many films?

Yes, that was most definitely Gamer... he looked so dirty and sexy... check out that bicep. I think the bicep was one of the first things I noticed. And then of course how sexy and dirty he looks. Of all of Gerry's different looks, his "Gamer-look" is one of my favorites. Hence the very nice siggie Steph made for me. He is just so damn hot in that movie. All dirty, sweaty and running for his life to safe his woman. Poof and

Rented Gamer last night and watched on my new Blu-Ray and Hi-Def TV (income tax return is now gone, gone, gone!).
Ahem. I now feel that I am intimately acquainted with Gerry's ass checks and every aspect of his bum.

So, got to watch Gamer last night - the strong, wounded, silent con (well, not really, but you know) that has a mission - wow, wow, wow - but I have to say if GB wasn't in it, along with Michael C. Hall, it would be forgettable. It was quite disturbing! But I couldn't get enough of the zoom in on his eyes, face, There's no thread here for Gamer - what did everyone else think? The pics on the other threads are Gerry = delicious. My husband noticed how intently I was watching and referred to him as my boyfriend! Ha ha, oh yeah! Well, he can have Cindy and I can have Gerry. As if! Just name the time and place! Okay, I had my fix last night. Next, Dear Frankie - can't believe I have yet to see it.
