'New Years' is right down the street and coming around the corner, fast and furious.
The passage of time has meaning.
I shall pass through this world but once Any good, therefore, that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. - Stephen Grellet
What are some of the traditions you do before the close of each year? Do you 'reflect' or, do you 'anticipate'?
Happiest New Year from All of Us to All of You

I always vow to lose weight, and I do. I spend the rest of the year gaining it back.
I don't reflect too much other than to sum the year up. I always have such hope for the next one even though they're pretty much all the same.

I always vow to lose weight, and I do. I spend the rest of the year gaining it back. Been there Chickie! I would like to drop a little this year. Not a lot maybe a size. I really don't want to have to buy all new clothes. Just make the clothes I have fit better. When I lose weight it happens in my boobs ! Plus I'm 47, I lose a ton now and it will age me. These Hollywood babes have set the bar to high for us regular girls. I don't have access to personal trainers and plastic surgeons when things begin to sag. You know?

Well, I guess I'm like everyone else and want to lose some weight this year -- specifically 10 lbs although that will be a tough one for me. Actually, I'd REALLY like to get back in shape, but finding the time to lift is so difficult.
Actually, as we age, weight-lifting becomes more important. Don't shy away from it ladies; you won't bulk up unless you try to. Focus on lots of reps with an adequate weight and you'll find you'll get in shape and improve your figure. It helps with the sagging that inevitably gets us all.

Before my baby I had nice perky boobs, then I had her and after my boobs blew-up to double D's and my milk dried up my breasts drop two inches on my chest. It was quite traumatic. I wasn't smiling though... Is there a smiley with the spinning boobies and a horrified look?

LOL! You girls crack me up. I will have to say that I was very fortunate in the boobie area. I gained a cup size to a D after breastfeeding my 2nd. Any time my husband comments on them, I remark, "Those are from your youngest. Remember that when he's driving you crazy."

Well, I plan on losing 20 some lbs to get back to 140-145. I went back on Alli until I do and then it's maintaining the weight again. My mom bought these Shape Up shoes by Sketcher's that I plan on buying myself so when I go walking, they help to tone the legs, buttocks, stomach, etc. She said they feel like your walking on a pillow, they're THAT comfortable.

oh yeah lepp. i've seen them advertised. hey listen, you want to tone up your calves...i swear this works...get those stretch bands... i use them ALL the time when working out...it really develops & tones the lower legs. glutes too and upper body. GREAT, FANTASTIC STRETCH...stretching is so under rated but necessary. gets rid of tension, promotes flexibility & tone.
yepper, i was a 38 B for years until i had my two babies then after breast feeding kicked up to 40 D...(shrugs) men like. right? so...i just want to be fit & healthy at this point, more stamina, things to do, places to go, people to meet....whats a cougar? i've been hearing this a lot lately? why?

A cougar is an older woman who preys on younger men. So, I am coming into my cougar years, being 37, and working at a college campus definitely causes naughty thoughts I should not have.
