Yay! A sequel! This movie was so cute, I loved it from start to finish. I'm buying it when it comes out on DVD because I could watch that one over again.

Hey, girlies!! I have seen this in the theatre, on huge screen with rocking love seats -- and I found myself staring at Stoick in every scene he was in as if it WERE Gerry onscreen, LOL!!
His voice is so verra rich and so verra Scottish and so verra sexy. It will be fun to close my eyes and picture him . . . simply lovely! I'm curious about the "Boneknapper" story - will it tease us about the sequel...or will there not be one? What am I thinking? Of course there'll be one - it's a big moneymaker for the studio!! And immortality for Gerry and Craig in a classic children's tale. I bet they never thought this was in the cards for them, LOL!!
I give it two thumbs up - get it as soon as it's released!! Can't wait to see the numbers the first week!!

I will update better soon but a PR Release came out about the sequel and it did not include Gerry in the cast returning but other articles have said he is returning and I heard it on Entertainment Tonight Canada that ALL the cast were returning. So either a lot of journalists can't read official press releases from Dreamworks, someone called Dreamworks and someone fessed to an omission or Gerry's status is unknown because he sounds like the movie script has not been written yet, so it may not have a big role if any for the father Stoick or Gerry has not confirmed he will be returning either because he needs to see a script first or they are still negotiating. In the meantime it also appears that HTTYD is being made into a carton series Cartoon Network Orders Series of ‘How To Train Your Dragon’by Cortney Zamm, Oct 13 2010 // 9:00 AM Some might say that this summer’s biggest and best animated film was Toy Story 3, but I beg to differ. Dreamwork’s How To Train Your Dragon brought so much to the table and surprised me in so many ways. It pulled at my heartstrings, made me smile so wide it almost hurt, and just left me satisfied. Plus, it’s about dragons. Dragons are awesome. While Pixar reigns supreme with their countless Oscars and widespread critical acclaim, I really feel that Dreamworks, with films released this summer like How to Train Your Dragon and Despicable Me, are slowly sneaking up on them. Which is why I was very excited to hear that How To Train Your Dragon will be soaring from the big screen to your television. According to Ain’t It Cool News, Cartoon Network has decided to turn How to Train Your Dragon into a television show. No word yet on whether or not any of the cast members of the film, which include Jay Baruschel, Gerard Butler, and Jonah Hill, will reprise their roles for the television show, or when the show will even be released. This is certainly exciting news that the universe of How To Train Your Dragon will continue on, both on television and in a film sequel slated for 2013. theflickcast.com/2010/10/13/cartoon-network-orders-series-of-how-to-train-your-dragon/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=cartoon-network-orders-series-of-how-to-train-your-dragon
