Finding Attila

I did a miniseries called "Attila," which was Gerard Butler's first American job. That was one of the most challenging things, casting the part of Attila. Some executives wanted me to go to a gym and try to find him. It was a casting director in London who mentioned [Butler]. He wasn't even submitted here through his L.A. agent. And then once I met him, I thought he was definitely it. The struggle was that he was Scottish, so he had to work on the accent, and I think someone at the studio just had a different vision in mind. So the process was getting the director and the producers behind Gerry and saying, "If you really believe in him, we need to fight for this guy." There was a point where I said, "Look, I'll give back my money if you guys aren't happy." I think what I like most is when you really believe in somebody and you're able to fight for them and it works out.

Above all that WE are not weird obsessed for believing and supporting this guy, he REALLY has a charisma and there are other people - not as weird or obsessed as we are - who share this opinion.

Yes! Gerry was HOT in this movie...The movie is looong, and has some really boring scenes with romans talking, BUT when you have it on dvd, you can just fast forward to Gerry!!!

His eyes look incredible. He said in an interview once that the color is real, but that he was wearing eyeliner...

I must admit, I was suspicious about that color of his eyes. I thought he was wearing contact lenses.

I love that picture of him... was really disappointed when I didn't see this in the actual film. He's so damn sexy in this and those eyes... so gorgeous!! I love how in some movies his eyes look blue and sometimes they look green; in this one, they were more green, but in "Timeline" they looked blue.

And when you catch his look - it hit you. It's like you start "melting" inside.

I feel like i'm letting the side down as this one of the only movies of gerry's which i have not seen yet, i know shocking right! Although... i already know the out come of the film (not a fan of these sort of endings haha),

sooooo i went to youtube to have a nosey (perv) at G in a few scenes from the film, and came across this, not sure if its posted anywhere else mind.
