Oh, Dianne, i'm so envy of you !!! There is this film on Greek TV but only once or twice a year.... First time i saw it i thought "Blue-eyed Attila ? What an historical crap !!!" - you see, i had the (wrong) impression that the Huns were of Mongolian anchestry...well i was wrong - they indeed were Caucasians ! Back to the "blue eyed" though.....i thought the guy was extremely good looking ( yet wasn't impressed by the acting, or noticing it as a matter of fact, cause i've already put it in the B-movie list. Still later, on the bedroom scene, i was VERY jmpressed by the guy's torso.....and it was far before the "300" mind you . His torso reminds me so of a big, robust trunk !!!

WOW! Can't believe there is no thread about this movie, yet..... Just saw it on TV. I remember seeing it quite a few years ago, just the wedding scene and the ....hm...wedding night of the hell...i remember i was kind of snob about the stuff, thinking "Attila the Hun with blue/green eyes ? Give me a break!", yet being immensely impressed by the man's gaze and his wonderful, cylindrically shaped torso... It's a movie, historically accurate and though not in Oscar level, certainly one you can watch with your hubbie/boyfriend and each one of you receive pleasure for differents reasons...... PS Would the "Attila's" wedding night from hell be the reason for Gerard's reluctance in the ceremony?

OK, I just watched half of this movie. Other half will have to wait until later. I am SO EXCITED. He needs to be in more movies riding a horse. I am VERY particular about actors riding, because most don't know how. Gerry obviously knows how. OMG, if I ever had a chance of removing myself from this obession, it's gone now. I have a whole new avenue of fantasies now. Damn you, Gerry!

He really does need a warning label.

I loved Attila! Not only a fun, cheesy movie, but Gerry was to die for in this. Totally at the peek of his youthful male beauty, and yeah he clearly knows how to ride a horse. That one scene where he was fighting his rival on horseback was terrific. He made the nasty Attila so appealing: “He kills, he pillages!” Then one look at Gerry as Attila: “Oh baby come to Mama!” I kept imagining Mae West sashaying through the camp, squeezing Gerry’s arm & throwing off a few wisecracks!

I want to know where he learned how to ride. I grew up around horses so this is a really big deal to me. I don't expect most men to know how to ride; most people just don't have the opportunity. I WANNA KNOW!!!
