I too like the personal touch on his FB finally and I think this is a response to the complaints about lack of personal touch. Yeah. Glad to see it happening. He looked so adorable in the video. Funny. Is that his publicist the woman we never see but hear, she is American. I want one of those signed posters.

That was a great step to get Gerry personally involved in FB. I loved it.
Did you notice how energized he seemed and in such a good mood? This PR for this movie is so different for him after the last few.
I do wonder why he can't sit down and sign 100 posters. His back will be killing him!!!! I volunteer to massage his back!!

OHF Italian interview on La Stampa
Translation by google translate:
Gerard Butler "I'm going to be a hero to save America"
The actor pratognista of "The Siege", but also in life help those in need NEW YORK, lorenzo soria
Gerard Butler would go out from the hero of the Action. And do him act, he tries. Nine years since the world discovered him with a mask on him in The Phantom of the Opera, and six since if it is taken to be the formidable King Leonidas of Sparta, the Scottish actor tried to go in different directions, but has never been able to repeat the success of 300.
It 'been in romantic comedies such as It's never too late to say with Hilary Swank, and The Deer Hunter starring Jennifer Aniston and What I know about love by Gabriele Muccino. But he wants the audience to action. And soon it will respond when in Siege, where the head of the bodyguards of the U.S. President (Aaron Eckhart) who, following an accident that leads to the death of the First Lady, he is fired. But when the president is taken hostage at the White House, and the terrorists are going to blow up in their silos all U.S. nuclear weapons, our back and save everyone.
He also starred in and produced the film. What did he see in her character? "A man who has everything, it becomes a personal friend of the president, who is the son as his own. One day the First Lady dies in an accident and he becomes the scapegoat. But then the White House is under siege and defend it is only he who finds himself having to fight not only the terrorists but his demons. And even if he tries anything against, because it is a ready to take a bullet for his president, but is also one who prefers to unload the bullets on the other. "
Her, who would take a bullet? "I never got bullets in my life but I did my fair share of stupid things. Once in a pub in Scotland have intervened to stop a fight between six and me are taken by everyone. No, I was not drunk but I was not sober. Another I saw a truck that was going to catch fire, I got on a bus that was passing, I ripped the fire extinguisher and I extinguished the fire. Do not try to be a hero, but if I see someone in trouble try to help and I hope that someday I'll be in trouble I will be someone to help me. "
His next film will be Thunder Run, military operation that ten years ago led to the fall of Baghdad. Operation, in the second of the points of view, bright or catastrophic. "I do not know if it will be my next film, but the script is excellent. It 'a study of the three days that led to the fall of Baghdad and see the military victory but also a series of terrible mistakes. "
Some say that she is manly and playful as another Scottish actor, Sean Connery. "Any comparison with Sean Connery sends me to heaven."
It is hard on himself? "Yes, a lot. Sometimes I think that even if there were people who treat me like I suddenly I could not call them friends. But I'm getting more mature and have a little 'less severe. If I'm wrong, patience. "
Let's talk about Madalina Ghenea, the Romanian actress-model that comes out of a year, a record for her. What have you learned? "That men and women are very different creatures. And if the reports are difficult for everyone, we actors are even more. I've always been very independent and motivated. Do a job, finish, along with others. But when you're in a relationship you want to go to work, right now I'd be with Madalina in Thailand. And behold, this is my next goal: find the point of balance. "

Very interesting this Thunder Run. Looks like Argo but with Gerry???/ Mmmmmmmmmmm!!! I hope will be next Thunder Run is a true story about the soldiers that invaded Baghdad in tanks. It's a difficult book to read...very gritty and disturbing to know what those men went thru. Also disturbing to know what the civilians of Baghdad went through and were forced to do to help. I do wish Gerry would tell us what he is doing next. Maybe he's waiting for OHF to do well to decide on another project. He does seem to be more focused on finding happiness in his private life. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks Lily www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2291956/Smooth-Gerard-Butler-cuddles-Angela-Bassett-Olympus-Has-Fallen-premiere.htmlHe certainly has a way with the ladies! Smooth Gerard Butler cuddles up to Angela Bassett at Olympus Has Fallen premiere[/size] He has never been one to shy away from the chance to get to grips with a female co-star. So it will come as no surprise to fans of Gerard Butler that he cuddled up to Angela Bassett at the premiere of Olympus Has Fallen in New York on Monday. The dynamic duo hammed it up for photographers on the red carpet, with the jocular Scot pulling her close so they could pose together for a photograph. Cuddle buddies: Gerard Butler posed up with Angela Bassett at the premiere of Olympus Has Fallen in New York on MondayThe ladies man seemed to be having a great time as he larked around with the 54-year-old Golden Globe winner. And while the pair seemed relaxed in each other's company, there is little chance of Gerry adding her to his list of conquests, as she has been happily married to Law & Order: Criminal Intent star Courtney Vance since 1997. The 43-year-old, who hails from glamorous Paisley in Renfrewshire, looked in good shape in a grey suit, black shoes, though he lost style points for following the current fad for going tieless. On the pull: The cheeky star grabbed the actress closer as he hammed it up for photographersDancing on the carpet: The pair looked like they were about to indulge in a step or two as they fooled aroundGooseberry: Gerry looked far from pleased when director Antoine Fuqua spoiled their fun by posing with themThe actor plays Agent Mike Banning in the film, a Secret Service agent assigned to the Presidential Detail, while Angela plays his boss. After a tragic accident, he is demoted and assigned to desk duty. But he gets a chance to redeem himself When the White House is captured by a terrorist mastermind and the President is held hostage. Finding himself trapped inside, the national security team are forced to rely on his inside knowledge to help retake the White House, save the President, and avert an even bigger disaster. An extra sprinkle of glamour: Fashion designer Rachel Roy and actress Heather Matarazzo also attendedThat's more like it: Gerry looks more dapper than ever when he dons a tuxedo and bow tie in the thrillerPoster boy: The charismatic star no doubt approved of the exciting image used to promote the film----------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't you just love the Daily Mail?
