Thank sooooo much for the pictures girls. They really made my day. Gonna be grinning like idiot rest of the day. Thank good it's my day off and I'm planning relax at home today. It seem that Mr. Butler has come up with a new pose. Before we got a lot of saluting-pose and the pointing-finger-pose. I starting to wonder of Gerry pr Gerry staff is lurking around here , cause us talking about he does a lot of the same poses. I love the new call-me-darlin-pose. The delusion all part of me think that he's referring to me. Jeep , I'm of my rockers when comes to Gerry.

Thank you so much everyone for all your work today - I have only one question - why didn't Gerry go with the theme and wear his wetsuit? Maybe he read over here all about swimsuits and other stuffs and decide better not Fifi

Someone thought this was a call me sign, which is a good guess but it is a surfing sign. Although I live in Michigan and pretty far from any ocean I have seen that sign flash on occasion, knew it was a surf sign but didn't know the meaning.... I looked it up... _____________________________________ My friend, who passed away recently, and who lived in Hawaii for a number of years, always liked to give the "hello/goodbye" hand signal with his thumb and small finger horizontal. Is there a name for this sign and how it came to be? Al, Alberta Canada The Big Kahuna Response: Aloha Al, The hand signal you ask about is called the "shaka" (not to be confused with the Zulu warrior of the same name). The shaka sign is a gesture of greeting. It is associated with Hawaii and surfers (also other boarding sports like skateboarding and snowboarding). To make the sign, extend your thumb and pinky finger while keeping the three middle fingers curled. You then raise your hand in salutation with your fingers facing you. For emphasis, you can wiggle your hand back and forth. Some of the many meanings of the shaka hand sign are, "hello," "goodbye," "cool," "okay," "see you later," and "take care." The shaka sign was used as a campaign signal by Frank Fasi, a populist Honolulu politician of the 1970s and 1980s. Fasi was a territorial senator and the longest-serving mayor of Honolulu (1969 to 1981). Now that you know, you can raise your hand towards heaven (lani), and send a shaka greeting to your friend who has passed on. Mahalo for your question, The Big Kahuna

I'm curious, did the new lady in GERARD BUTLER life RIGHT NOW, attend the lunch or premiere? If not, he must not be serious with her. Also, who are the little girls in the pictures with GB?

Hi Angie, How serious Gerry is about Madelina is up for debate. She is currently filming a movie with Jude Law so she may not have been able to make it, and the girls are Gerry's nieces. They are his brother's twin girls.

Click on the link to view another great video entertainment.stv.tv/film/195678-gerard-butler-opens-up-about-chasing-mavericks-near-death-experience/Scottish actor Gerard Butler has talked about caused a splash on set and scaring his co-stars when he was dragged underwater filming surfer movie Chasing Mavericks – having to be rescued and later hospitalised. The film is the inspirational true story of surfing phenomenon Jay Moriarity, played by Jonny Weston. Gerard Butler plays a local legend who agrees to train Jay and prepares him to tackle one of the biggest waves on earth, Mavericks. The Scottish star joked at yesterday’s L.A. premiere: "I was world champion before but I didn't put a lot of time into it. "No, I didn't really. I think maybe I surfed in my life three times. “I did actually many, many years ago with my cousins who live down in San Clement,e and I remember them trying to put me in the water and I was so embarrassed. “I was 17 years old. I was over from Scotland and thinking, 'what am I doing here?'" One day for the shoot Butler pushed himself too hard. Accompanied by the crew and professional surfers, Butler was hit by a wave that nearly drowned him. "It was terrifying," remembered co-star Jonny Weston. "I had no idea if he was going to come up to be honest. “When the wave cleared he wasn't there, and he wasn't there, and he wasn't there. He basically went a hundred yards in the water. He popped up and we were hoping it wasn't a seal or something, you know? He made it back and the look in his eyes, I think it changed his life forever." Director Michael Apted also feared for Butler's life. "I think he was underwater for 40 seconds, which doesn't sound very much but imagine, it would be terrifying," he said. "You don't know what's up, what's down, where the surface is. You are being pushed around. Horrifying." Butler was hospitalized and later released. When asked if he regretted pushing himself so hard, he laughed and replied, "No, not at all’." "I probably never really learn from my mistakes. In the next movie I'll be doing something else stupid. 'Gerard Butler just broke his leg doing this.'" •Chasing Mavericks opens in the UK on November 2.

For some reason i love useless trivia ( who knows , thus might come in handy someday).
