I am fine with my eyes. God gave them and they are fine. Doesn't mean I don't want them different. But even though I wish they were different I would never get contacts. I want natural and I am content to keep my plain dark brown eyes. ;D

I have brown eyes with some glints of olive green inside. I'm short -eyed too, wearing contacts for years so, two years before i decided to have my contacts in green colour..... Don't worth the money....believe me ! After spending the first period believing i looked green - eyed ( which i didn't!) i return to my old, plain, natural contact lences and i'm happy and save money, too !!!

There are absolutly no Brown eyes in my genetic pool for generations. When I was a child I was scared of dark brown eyes where I could not see the pupil. My GGGrandfaters Mustering in records for the civil war was described him as 5'11" tall for 1864 dark hair and bright blue eyes. He is one of my confirmed Scottich lines. His ancestors Pringles came from Scotland as conscripted soldiers for the English army during the French and Indian war. Discided this war thing wasn't for them (He and his Brother) Deserted Fort pit and settled Buchannon County, WV.
I did marry into some Brown eyes light brown gold to green at times and boy did my family give me a hard time!!! I was adulterating the gene pool. My Kids came out with my eyes though.

add me to the list of super fair skinned people. If I was any paler I'd be clear. I also have green eyes, well they are yellow-green kind of like a cat. I'm happy with them, other parts of me not so much lol

I'm really pale, no tanning for this girl. As far as my eyes, they sometimes look brown and sometimes look green... hard to say really.

I come from a very old family too. My family has been her since before the Revolution and like Jamie Fraser they come to America via Jamestown and settled in the mountains of North Carolina. This is my mothers side and they are all fair with the blue eyes. My mother is a combination English and Scottish with family names being Hensley, Ely, and McFee. My fathers side is just as old as far as settling in the "America's." My fathers side is french and the first ancester came up the St Lawerance Sea Way with Cadilac and settled in Quebec. One of my ancestor's married a native American from the Huron tribe and as a result all of us have black eyes.....They say brown eyes are very dominant. My French father married my blonde/blue eyed mother had two children and we both have dk brown eyes. My husband now has blue/green eyes and I had a blue eyed child. The light eyes finally won out.

Both my grandparents families on my dad's side came from Apetlon, Austria. My grandmother was born there, but my granddad was born here in the states in Nebraska. My great-grandparents on my mother's side were from Odessa, Russia.
