I think Gerry has the patience of an saint. I'm very shy and timid person , but i think even i would pull a "Britney" at some point. Maybe using a pepper spray or a fog horn. On second thought , maybe not. The papp would have sued my ass of. George Clooney used an air horn. I don't think i would care if they kept their distance but when you can't walk, drive and they try to trip you and look up your skirt then that's waaaay too far.

I love seeing pic, of our favorite man to. and love this site it always brings a smile to my face,or a great chuckle. Wouldnt want it any other way. Ijust worry bout it. I so agree, I love to see new photo's but when they invade his time with his family that's a little to much.

I have to say, I agree with tantemilli: it is not black/white - and celebrity is a two-way street. No doubt, the paps are usually disrespectful - and that is NOT Gerry's fault, but Gerry has chosen this lifestyle - not only being a celebrity, but also a very "social" person. I suspect that if he didn't have the reputation with women and known for flashing his tummy ( ), he wouldn't be half as interesting. He does have a way of drawing attention to himself. I don't think that any kind of nice and calm behaviour could make the paps go away, and they're not supposed to. They are a part of the celebrity game - keeping the celebrities' names out there. I suppose that's why some of us feel ambivalent about it, because we want to see pics, but we don't want to be invasive. I also get the impression that some places in Hollywood and NYC are paparazzi hotspots (certain restaurants, certain Starbucks, certain parks etc), where celebrities go when they want publicity, and I'm sure Gerry has done that! So yeah, of course disrespectful behaviour towards anybody is unacceptable, but I DO think Gerry is playing the game often. Now he is not to be seen on the gossip pages at a time when both his career and private life is QUITE interesting! as opposed to periods of time where he gets a lot of attention for the most insane rumours! For example, Just Jared started a new article when MGP (or was it Coriolanus) came out on dvd, but the fact that a handfull awesome actors are gonna be in his next movie is apparently less news-worthy - or the exposure is not about news at all?? Don't you think that's weird?? I don't have the answer to the questions above - I honestly have no clue how the pr game works...
