Poor guy, more pics.... he doesn't look happy. His hair and beard look darker though... Lolita needs to loose a bit of weight... but hey, I can commiserate  |

But why to hire a bodyguard, why have get used with the free-like Gerry, not THAT Gerry, he seemed to be more casual but now he is like all the other stars....Hope he "get" back soon... |

It looks like a security guard to me. There's lots of so-called "private, gated and guarded communities" along that bit of the California coast, and a few "private" beaches**.
It may be that where Gerry was walking was part of one of these communities and therefore the photographer was technically trespassing (ie shouldn't have been there), and the security guard was called to deal with the photographer/s.
** though how the hell you can have a "private beach" in the first place, let alone enforce it is beyond my little brain.
