You were lucky, Dianne How cool! Hehe, I don't think I could survive in Detroit. DK is relatively peaceful. Gerry should come to Denmark and do a movie. We have lots to offer. Even though we are practically neighbours with Scotland (give and take), I doubt he's has been here. Pierce Brosnan was just here shooting a movie, and they shot the desert scenes for The English Patient in Denmark. gersarchitect: love Germany, even if we just drive through it sometimes , it's so versatile - and we have this in common:

Well..lol... I am that really odd German who doesn't like beer... I know, it's strange. My entire family loves it in typical German fashion but not me, never developed a taste for it. I actually grew up on a movie series from Denmark that was very popular in the eastern part of Germany. I only know its German name though, it's about those three small time criminals. It's very funny, it reached a cult status in eastern Germany. It's kind of bad that this is the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear Denmark...
hehe, that's okay! I don't know which series it is, though. There was a tv series called "Smuglerne" (The Smugglers) in the '70s? Now you got my head spinning! hmm... I prefer German, Belgian and Irish beer to Danish - what d'ya know?!

Mak, it's a series of movies, not a TV series. I bet you know it. I looked it upon imdb, the Danish title is almost the same as the German, Olsen-banden?
I grew up with that, those where cult movies in East Germany. Very funny and hit the right nerve with people in eastern Germany. However it is hardly known in western Germany.
I don't drink beer but I do drink wine and mixed drinks so I am ready to party

Aaahh! Of course! Yeah, they are big in Denmark too still They are the quintessence of Danish culture and from a time when you had beer with your lunch at work
I have a wine expert in my circle of friend, so I've come to like that too. I am emotionally sensitive to alcohol, though, so I do have dry spells - like now - to the disappointment of my friends, but I still know how to party But now summer is coming, so I'll probably give it a go then
Speaking of summer (and sightings), I think it's about time we see some beach pics again - preferably GB coming out of the water - or the like. He's welcome to be creative

Awww! She's super cute!
I'm sooooo excited Gerry will be less than 2 hours from me. Ugh. I'm not going to be able to think, work, sleep right. So close but so far away. Sigh. I'm like a freaking 16 year old girl here. Not that being 16 year old is bad, I'm just twice that age. Geez. Somebody kill me now.
