You're right lylak... it's all about Gerry! And no, I have no hesitation about going to another PA! No matter what, I'll always have that first time, even if I never get anything that lives up to it again. I want to be there, a face in the crowd, so that Gerry knows that he has people who will love and support him always! And although he always likes meeting new fans, I think it means even more to him to see the same faces coming back again and again. It helps bolster his self-esteem, which we know can be shaky at times, and reminds him that he has fans he can always count on!

hmmm, lylak and seaturtle you've made some interesting comments here. if the day ever arose where as a 'fan' i'd 'meet' the gerry man (not just 'see' him...but actually 'meet' and 'talk' with him)...ONCE would be enough, anything further could put me into the realm of 'stalker'....LOL....i'd definately want more and thats not realistic. hence, no second rounds. though the comment made that being 'a face in the crowd over and over again just to let him know' is very sweet idea. personally, by going to gerry's movies, commenting on facebook, myspace, and being here at this site speaks out personally my sentiments toward gerry with sincere affection and definately in his corner....... i wonder? lately, considering all the 'faces' gerry meets must be daunting in a way. relating to when as a deejay looking out into the sea of faces, was fabulous kick, but i knew i couldn't connect with every one and that was okay. its an overwhelming feeling to have all this 'love' (even for a moment in time) come your way, all at once....(shrugs)...now, i rather like privacy and prefer sending out my 'love-vibes & goodwill' for gerry here... safely tucked away on this 17" little screen....totally satisfied (cluck, cluck) i hope gerry does read through his 'cyber' fan mail too...(tons of sites throughout the world)...to know how much he has influenced others in very positive ways as well as getting his daily dose of universal love-huggers...

I don't feel like a stalker at all, and I know from personal experience that Gerry really does appreciate seeing some of the same faces. I think to him it's comforting and knowing that we're still around makes him feel good. You THINK once is enough, but until it actually happens you don't know. And then when that second opportunity arises, it's very hard to stay away. He's like a damned drug! But perhaps since you kinda know what it feels like to have that, maybe you would be ok with just once. I do know some people who have had that experience. Personally, I can't get enough of the man, and now I almost feel an obligation to be there for him. Not that my one face not being there would matter to him, nor would he notice my absence, but what if, ya know? Ok that just sounds stupid. LOL All I know is that I enjoy the interaction with Gerry, and I get the feeling he does as well. I can't wait until BST gets her next dose of the Juice.

LOL...now don't get yourself ruffled up there mrs. b....wasn't saying 'YOU' are stalker or any other lady fan who goes out of her way to 'see' the gerry. i 'jokingly' said i'd 'feel' stalker-ish to pursue him repeatedly. thats all. but, lets agree a 'stalker' really isn't a joking matter, now is it. there is a fine-line between a curious adoring fan and one who is completely 'obsessed' and confused about their own identity....i don't believe any of us here fall into that category. even though, we 'joke' about our infatuation towards this man in 'lusty' terms, its still someones 'life' we are talking about and that deserves a little decorum and propriety......

No ruffling here. I just like to clarify myself; I didn't take it personally at all, sweetie. No worries.

Baby sea turtle, you gave me the chills reading this. How great to share this with Mrs. Butler. I know I'll never get the opportunity to meet him and hear this story makes you feel like you did experience it, thanks for sharing such beautiful moments.

Craven why don't you think you'll ever get the opportunity??. Can your family not do without you for a few days so you can do something for YOU??. I appreciate all our financial circumstances are different and that may contribute to things but it will be months before there is a proper PA and putting aside a little a month can make all this a reality. You will never regret it and even if you don't get a Gerry experience as we can't ever guarantee things meeting all these women in person is worth the trip alone.

Also we can all laugh and joke about the stalker aspect but there is a big difference at showing at alot of PAs be it premieres/talk shows where fans are expected and showing in his neighbourhood and following him around for the day. I think Gerry has come to expect his regular fans will show at things worldwide - UK fans show at US stuff and US fans at UK stuff. Like Mrs B said it must be great for him to know so many of these fans have loyally supported him for years.

I met him when he was filming close to where I lived and he was so awesome to me. I mean past nice. I have to tell you though that the pull to go again while he was in town was strong but I managed to stay home. I figured I was his first contact with this web site and I wanted to leave him with a good first impression. I did see him again on set but I was hired to be an extra and supposed to be there. He recognized me and we locked eyes and he smiled at me in greeting but we didn't exchange words that day. He didn't talk with any of the extras that day. He had two intense scenes to do that day and that was the day Laurie was last pictured with him... Me thinks they may have broken up that day but that is me speculating. I don't think he was in the mood for small talk but he definitely was not unhappy. He joked with the guys on set and seemed in a fairly good mood.
