Hi all!! We've seen him in Phantom, we've heard him sing "LA Woman" on Jay Leno, "Galway Girl" in PS I LOVE YOU, and a weatlh of others... BUT, what would WE LOVE to hear him sing?!?! May-be we could make some requests?!?! I would LOVE to hear him sing "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. I think his voice could really pull this off... Ciao all and pleasant daydreaming of Gerry

Sexual Healing, I think his voice is soulful enough to pull it off.

"At This Moment" - Billy Vera and The Beaters
and I would just cry.
What did you think I would do at this moment When you're standing before me With tears in your eyes Trying to tell me that you have found you another and you just don't love me no more
What did you think I would say at this moment When I'm faced with the knowledge That you just don't love me Did you think I would curse you Or say things to hurt you 'cause you just don't love me no more
Did you think I could hate you Or raise my hands to you Now come on you know me too well How could I hurt you when darling I love you and you know I'd never, never hurt you-oo-wo-oo...
What do you think I would give at this moment If you'd stay I'd subtract twenty years from my life I'd fall down on my knees and kiss the ground that you walk on If I could just hold you again
I'd fall down on my knees I'd kiss the ground that you walk on baby If I could just hold you
If I, could just hold you
If I, if I could just hold-hold you, again

Hell, he could sing anything -- the ABC's, even -- and it would sell!! All the mommys would buy it, LOL! Seriously, I'd love to hear him sing anything by the Doors -- "Back Door Man" comes to mind, because it's so bluesy and sexy. I'd also love to hear him sing "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green and James Taylor's "I Don't Want to be Lonely Tonight."

After watching this video, I also would love to hear him sing "You Are So Beautiful" and "Maybe I'm Amazed!" And, "The Long and Winding Road" would be lovely as well...

I agree that he could sing the ABCs and women around the world would melt, and buy the album too.
I love his version of LA Woman and would love to hear him sing... "Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name? Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game..." my game board is always open to such a FINE player... GRRRRR!!

"Love Me Two Times" would be another great one. Who am I kidding? He could sing ANYTHING and I'd be in a daze just watching and listening...

Keeping with The Doors theme, I'd love to hear him sing "Touch Me". Ladies, if you know the story behind this when Jim Morrison originally recorded it, you will get my drift, lol.
Also, how about we keep with the Scottish theme, how about "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" or Young Turks by Rod Stewart.
Seeing Gerry was also a big Duran Duran fan, maybe a bit of Girls On Film or Hungry Like The Wolf grrr.

Oh, yes, GSG - "Touch Me" -- I seem to remember that story . . . Gerry would love it!
Two other Rod Stewart classics - "Tonite's the Night" and "Maggie May"
What about "Rio???" I loved that video. Of course, it was on 50 times a day!!
Also, I'd love to hear him sing "I Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum. His voice would be pairfect for the dude's part.
A 70's song, "Green Eyed Lady" would be another one I'd like to hear him do . . .
The list just goes on and on...

After hearing Lady Antebellum, need you now, the other night, (thanks to you, lolab), I now have yet another thing to make me think of Gerry. I had heard it many times before on the radio, but never matched it with Gerry. He would totally rock this song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OfsZyYPLoI&ob=av2e

Awwwww, Jeanie -- I heard Need You Now this afternoon and thought of Gerry and YOU!! It'll be "our song" - LOL!! I keep hearing more songs that either remind me of him because he's said he likes the band/song or that I think he'd sound great actually singing it. Makes the drive to work a wee bit more fun than usual...

Gerry was a Durannie eh? I was a big fan too... But what about the Powerstation with Robert Palmer and the Taylor boys from Duran Duran - Get it On, Bang a Gong!!!
I could definitely see Gerry in one of those videos, dancing and surrounded by scantily clad beauties...
